Yeah just saw that so that’s great news. Gives him bit of a breather as well as he’s been ever present.

Pretty much gives him 1 month recovery for a lesser shoulder injury.

About the best we could have hoped for and for once the international break is doing us a favour. You'd certainly hope we have too much for Stoke and Derby even without him, Sunderland is a bit of a blow.

What you have to remember is Sunderland have just had some big players declared as out as well, it levels things out and I honestly believe at home we will get something from the game

I do too. Still a blow though, Sunderland are a good team and you'd want Rudoni really.

Several other playoff hopefuls are reporting season ending injuries for their players, Blackburn and Norwich, whilst we are getting players back from injury. Rudoni aside, Frank will have everyone available and fit for the run in, gotta help our chances surely.

Boro have Ben Doak out for the season

That International break has come at just the right time. 😁 Lucky Lampard.

Cov Tel article (update on the injury from Frank) confirms there was a dislocation and that it 'popped back in' again. No mention of it dislocating a second time, which I believe was what led people to think the injury might be more serious.

Yep. All being well he should be back after the international break.

True story.

Just seen him up 'stoke at7' playing badminton. Spoke to him and he said he'd been told to have a week off to completely rest, but he said he was a childhood fan of badminton and was only playing with his his strong hand and was only playing 75%. Apparently was close to qualifying for the British squad at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, but Covid ruined it, so apparently focused completely of football ever since.
I observed him for a good 45 minutes, completely ignoring my badminton partner. The signs look good, he looks mobile, agile and seems to really love badminton.

Wembley again Ole Ole.
Whacked a shuttlecock at the lad I play,
he's a prick.

Ole ole

I saw Ole Olsen ride at Wembley

And he played on and then had to come off having clearly aggravated it. They physios on the pitch were clearly assessing his ability to move the shoulder before taking him off.

Morning all. Just back from a nice walk with the dogs. I saw Jack out walking his, I think it was a doberman but it might have been a doberwoman. His shoulder seems fine, the dog was pulling him a bit and it's needs some training, but he seemed to be coping well. He's off on holiday next week, wouldn't tell me where but I'm guessing it's somewhere exotic.

Is it somewhere he can play badminton, though?

Judging by his footwear choice on Saturday it seems his ankle has doubled in size. Hopefully nothing too serious.

The photo I’ve seen on TikTok includes a young girl so best to not share on here. He’s wearing one slider and one trainer.

Me too. And Booey. And Ivan Mauger, Anders Michanek, Ronnie Moore, Briggo etc etc. Great days.

I went a lot mid to late 70s, home and away. The only time I ever went to Eastville was for the Speedway, not football.

Ole Olsen, Mitch Shirra, Gary Gugliemli, Alf Busk, Tommy Knudsen, Alan Molyneux...those were the days.

Did they complain, or are you talking about online?
It was in my dreams Otis, where I have a massive cock and last more than 2 minutes.
It's where all the best things in life happen.
Where we even beat Luton in that penalty shootout 🫣 and they didn't have VAR in Wembley cup semi finals!

I started a bit earlier, so I was weaned on the likes of Col Cotterill, Ron Mountford, Jim Lightfoot, Pete Bailey, Roy Carter, Les Owen, Roger Hill etc.
I was living in Southam when Shirra first came over (78? ish). He used to blast around town, underaged, on a Yam XT500 trailie (mostly on one wheel).
Helped me out one day when I broke down on my Triumph Tiger 100 outside the farm he was lodging at.
Good lad.

I'm from Southam and grew up there and remember that too. He lived up Welsh Road East, I think, didn't he?
