I guess what it's legitimate for them to be worried about is going into the play offs without form or momentum.

Calling for the manager to be sacked after the season they've had is barmy. They're a strange fanbase; incredibly loyal, but really not very supportive at all.
Their form since January while nothing extraordinary equally hasn’t been a catastrophe. As we well know momentum matters a lot going into the playoffs and they have time to sort that out.

Must be a bit galling to have been firmly in autos contention before though.

Wingers aren't marked anymore. The game has changed remarkably over the last ten years. Fullbacks take up central roll when the opposition attacks down the flanks . Never understood it myself but the guys with the laptops know best

Da Silva has been excellent today I must say

I agree.

He is much better going forward than he is defending, so a match like yesterday when we had lots of possession, territory and attacking intent suits him.

I think that a lot of our perceived problems at left back can be solved by the appropriate use of him and Bidwell, making sure that they start the right games and are substituted appropriately to fit the match situation.

I’m not sure that Lampard did this sufficiently well at the start of his reign but I think that he is now that he has got to know the players better.

Im disappointed went on their forum and for once they are not calling us names and so on.

That defeat has broken their spirits
And add to that we're looking favourites to meet them in the playoffs 😂 They have gone from thinking there's still a chance of making the top 2 to thinking their season is over. It wasn't just a win. It was men against boys.

I have just seen that Saturday's attendance was 30,219. Is this a new record for one of our matches at the CBS?

Shows how impressive the result and performance was saturday

And to think we only got 1 point up until the 18th January 😁

Next season is going to be an experience whatever happens this season. Get promoted then we play sides we haven't played for a quarter of a century. If not there's a good chance we do what Leeds have done this season. All the players we would want to keep are either under contract or would jump at the chance of staying. Lampard would have a pre season and shape the squad how he sees best.

Looking forward to next season as much as the end to this one.

Amazing really how Lampard , Jones & Edward’s have lifted this club in a short space of time .
The fantastic run of wins , has given us so much momentum, that the odd blip ( Derby ) doesn’t seem to matter that much & even the next 2 tough fixtures are games we should enter with massive confidence & going off what Frank said after the Sunderland game , a strategy of nullifying them & our tactics perfectly carried out to win that game.
So another hopefully, perfectly executed game against the blades & then a near full house ( they won’t bring many ) to see us cement 5th place , at the very least .

I assume you are referring to Burnley. They have one of the top away followings.

Depending on exactly how the season finishes I'd be surprised if Lampard is still here, I strongly suspect he'll get an opportunity in the top flight if we aren't promoted.
