Dovin planted his foot but it definitely looks like Campbells contact is what causes the injury.

You can typically walk off when you do your ACL so fingers crossed it’s not that. Genuinely decreases our chances of finishing in the playoffs by about 10% if he’s out all season

Tyrese Campbell is the human equivalent of a papercut. The Black Joey Barton

We have not managed to get Wright on the ball. There's been plenty of retention of the ball but Kitching looks a big miss and Allen floundering around achieving nothing. There is a sense of get one back and it becomes game on but Sheff Utd don't look like they want to sit on their lead, which continues to keep us from forming our own attacks. Rudoni /Sheaf can change that.

Hopefully we get some good news on dovin in the coming days

For now I'm not sure mocking Collins is helpful. Hopefully he can stps up and show why our pretty great recruitment signed him in the first place

Hamer the difference again, we’re missing rudoni so considering, we’re not playing that bad, 2 chances 2 goals, rudoni on for torp

Sakamoto and EMC out wide away from home is never a good shape, especially against a good team. Gives them too much space.

Sheff Utd are a big ugly side and we just haven't handled it. Noticeable the number of niggly fouls they commit in non dangerous areas of the pitch when they lose possession - this is what we should be doing. We need to match the ugliness and have a proper go at them.

Hopefully an impact injury?

As an elite athlete myself I remember when I was 7 running to jump over my grandmas wooden table and I hit my knee on it and it hurt so much I cried and she gave me a lollipop and then I was ok

Might be same for dovin

I'd take Kitching with shite running down the inside of his leg over Binks I think.
Its wank lets be honest but a lot on here had us down to get nothing from the 3 games Sunderland - Burnley. Take an improved second half and good injury news on Dovin at this point.

Let's be honest though Clint, we've made it that bit easier for them haven't we , they've waltzed through us several times , without any kind of pressure and nowhere near the energy we had before the break

But that could be because of the attributes I've mentioned.
Either way, I'm not going to get too down about the result, (if it stays this way).
I said I'd be happy with 4 from the 3 games against the top 4 and hopefully we can still achieve that.

I've still not given up on tonight!

At least if we brought Wilson in instead of Collins, we could send him up for corners and hope for a goal. With Collins, I feel like we are playing with 10 men. Time to bring Rudoni, Sheaf and Simms in and just go for it.

We looked OK until the first goal (though possibly because SU were letting us have possession and looking to beat us on the break - we weren't creating anything). Since then they've looked better in every department and like they're playing in second gear. When the do win the ball back they get through us with ease.

The loss of Kitching pre-match and Dovin's injury just compounds the misery.

Think the scoreline now depends on whether SU decide to conserve energy or go for the kill.

I've not given up but where on earth has the energy we had against Sunderland gone

You'll all laugh but this game needs turning upside down. Get Basette on to start diving around and wind them up. If no one is going to kick them and stand up to them, then we need to start fucking around and get in their heads.
