What is don't understand..... evey interview FL does he talks about how hard we work on "playing through the lines" and how much we work on stopping teams doing it.... so how come we allow it so easily and almost every goal we concede is "played through the lines" so easily?

That's the difference. Playing nicely, but not looking brave enough to go for the throat. Sheff Utd are doing that ( not sure how much that is to do with our defending) We shouldn't be losing this 3-0 based on the balance of play, but it's at the business end of the pitch where we've lost out tonight.
