Solid first half

Whilst we got massive stroke of luck with offside goal we did make the rudoni and emc chances legitimately and wright has gone close since too Vs the best defence in EFL history perhaps.

Burnley are clearly very dangerous team but they don't seem as good as sheff utd and Leeds to me yet so let's hope we can grab a winner and put these guys in the playoffs

Well, it's clear at half time the ref is doing his very best to give them anything they want to make up for allowing a goal that was clearly offside. He's been awful. How the foul off the ball on Sakamoto didn't result in a yellow card is criminal. Ref doing his level best to ruin a good, competitive game of football. But then Burnley are enjoying a good roll around

The ref seems to want to help Burnley in the last half an hour, but we have had a good half.

People need to stop panicking and wanting to tear up what has been working for us. We don't need to change anything as it is, we just need to come out second half a little bit smarter. A few better touches in important areas, a few more confident passes and not giving the ball away, and no stupid fouls. As long as we don't play into Burnley's dodgy tactics I feel like we will be ok.

They haven't conceded more than one goal all season, but we have looked very close to breaking that record. Let's come out second half with some belief and go and rattle them. We can get something out of this game.

Sakamoto just can't get into this. Normally his touch is impeccable but not so far today.
Overall our defence has played well considering they move the ball quickly and incisively. Their goal though had numerous errors from midfield and defence.

Jamie Allen nowhere near what he was against Sunderland. He is back to being iffective tody. Bring on Sheaf as we are losing the midfield battle. Torp late on could be a match winner.

MVE for the goal was immense. I don't think anyone single Burnley player expected him to catch up to his own ball, not once, but twice. Saka and EMC aren't really in the game atm. Haven't done anything of note badly, just haven't added anything positively. Not sure how the foul on Saka off the ball hasn't seen a yellow card? Unbelievable

That was ok. They're a good side; got lucky with the goal, but really should have had another.

Ref's dreadful, and he's lucky that the game's being played in a decent spirit. A more fractious pair of teams and he'd have lost it completely.
