Lads I have some terrible news tbh

Torp and EMC done for the season. Thomas deffo done for next couple, could also be the season

We're fucked
Oh, bugger. Losing Thomas would be a big blow for sure.

I think we can cope without Torp & EMC, possibly, but it does leave us short of numbers and also with options from off the bench.

Hope it doesn't bugger us up, but have a feeling it just might.

I think there was a case for bringing Simms in tomorrow and moving Wright out left anyway. Although personally I would’ve persisted with EMC against the sides coming up. And a fully fit Sheaf starts over Torp. The massive blow is one of Binks or Lati for Thomas.
To be fair, at least Hull have only one lump (Crooks?) and they may not have selected him (until they heard Thomas was out!)

EMC running across the pitch despite going off injured?

In all seriousness, why do we keep leaking this info on here, and giving the opposition a heads up. I can't believe that opponents don't look for this stuff - you can then adjust your team accordingly. Why would we want to give them a heads up, just for the sake of saying 'hey lads, guess what' on a forum. Genuinely don't get it. Why (especially in our position) would you do it?

The thing is we've got no depth

The starting 11 bar Collins isnt that bad

Collins

MVE Lati Kitching Bidwell
Grimes Sheaf Rudoni
Tats Simms Wright

Issue is the bench now

Allen
Paterson
Dasilva
Bassette

The rest will be padding with youngsters at the moment

Don’t even know it’s true yet,

Like I say to you all the time

No opposition side looks at a forum of rambling sad bastards like us lot for any sort of tactical insight

It harms no one, stop worrying about it

That’s normal at this level when you have this amount of injuries though. Imagine if we lost 5 first team regulars a couple of seasons ago.

BTA and Eccles are supposedly back next week.

Still significantly stronger than the bench in the Play Off season and in the FA Cup semi last year.

If the starting XI still "isn't that bad" with six regular first-teamers out for the season then you pretty clearly have decent depth.

Ok il rephrase it

Who do we have that can change a game off the bench with these injuries at the moment?

have faith, we’ve got the Lampard effect, look what he’s done with EMC thomas and kitching, everyones improved 👍 remember EMC was brought in as cover for wright on the left, got plenty of options still, only worry is Thomas, further weakens an already iffy defence , but gives players a chance to step up,

Our bench was crap the last time we made the playoffs too

I know your thing is to constantly run around and claim the sky is falling in, but of the players you claim to be injured, only Thomas would make the first XI substantially weaker by his absence

Back to a back 5?

Collins
Lati Binks Kitching
MVE Sheaf Allen Rudoni Dasilva
Wright Simms

Go quite direct hence no Grimes.

Last time we played that back 3 was Bristol city at home and Blackburn away. Back to back wins and clean sheets.
