This is a football forum were there are many trolls who come in as newbies and pretend to know it all and you are beginning to sound that way.

Respect for others is normal in my life, intresting that you thank God
Why are you starting an argument with japandy. If you read a thread the other day you will find he is known by a good few posters on this forum. i dont know him but from reading i gather he was seriously ill a while back and is lucky to be with us today. You class him as a troll which is very harsh. Ive benn a member here for a while now but tend not to post a lot so when i do will that make me a troll.Behave yourself were all ccfc fans at the end of the day. Just because he seems to know a bit more about hedge funds and joy than you does not give you the right to brand him a troll.

Looks like the end is nigh. I suppose the usual suspects will stick up for our fantastic owners. I just pray that someone else will rescue us before we're finished completely.

I actually think this is good news. SISU are going to lose control of the club. ACL make it clear that city are in imminent danger of being liquidated. That alone is good enough reason for us to go in to administration.

He really, really doesn't, though? He just sounds like one of their acolytes. That's going to wind people up. His personal struggle for life is touching but a little irrelevant to his opinions being legitimately challenged, don't you think?

He doesn't know that much about hedge funds, that is obvious by his statements re Seppala. How is she respected for risking investors money? She runs a very small hedge fund that is getting smaller by the day.

Dude, leave this guy alone. He does not warrant ill treatment of us. Ex GMK from years ago and dare I say it respected for his point of view.

I have never stated, or said, anything about my condition or situation so dont say anything about my conditin. you are neither friend, nor foe, so dont class yourself with me. READ and you will see. Joy is a friend of a friend and because you want to abuse a person because they are a friend of a person you dont like shows your condition of not accepting a person as not acceptable.
Joy has spent 43 million on us, would you do that?

Hoffman's got his pound coin out again! ACL seem to be playing games here, hope it doesn't all backfire. Surely if they had a buyer they should have put it to SISU (assuming they haven't), can't imagine SISU don't want to exit if they can. If they haven't then it looks like they're trying to force admin to put who they prefer in place - doesn't sit well with me to be honest but until we know more hard to judge.

Do you really believe all that?

Andy, this friend of a friend thing is a bit tenuous. Do you really believe they have put 43 mill in to city? If JS wants to make a success of city she should have shown her hand a lot earlier. I hope City come out of this stronger, I don't want SISU running our club.

You didn't talk about your condition, somebody else did-he was using it to defend your views. Glad you agree with me that it's not relevant!

And if "Joy is a friend of a friend" of yours, much in the spirit of "my enemies enemy is my friend", that does I'm afraid make you a foe! As well as biased and not objective. As I said, something of an acolyte, which is how you came over with your "Joy Seppala's SISU Army" rhetoric.

What intrigues me is the notion that somebody posting on here knows somebody who knows her. It's pretty unlikely that many Coventry fans would be in that position. What does she look like? I'm curious!

I never said or branded him a troll I said he was beginning to sound like one with his reply to me.

Bearing in mind he joined this forum just this month march 2013, not about that he doesn't post often.

Yes we are all CCFC fans at the end of the day yet as you say he seems not does know more.

besides that I hope he has a complete recovery from his illness

Haha this is a good debate. Thanks for sympathy from many old friend, nd thanks for my health concerns but I feel many on here have valid points.

Joy, as I said is a friend of a friend, but that doesn't make me biased towards her. There are two reasons for my joining this excellent forum and wanting to come out of my hole. Although I must warn you I am a God fearing man and will convert you at some time as I did with most GMKers, lol.

Point 1 is the point about SISU's reputation in the 'risk management industry'. Joy was able to invest millions into the club when the country was in recession. There is one name tht should take the blame because he has lied to the back teeth to SISU and the fans, and that is Ray Ransom. At no time have SISU blamed anyone for the clubs position but they could have pointed the finger at so many people. SISU have a good reputation in Northern Europe and the States and have a track record second to none. Most people on here are only aware of their existance through their relationship with us.
Point 2 is - are we in administration? We are said to be by an organisation ACL that cannot make the Ricoh profitable and are managed by amateurs. If SISU was allowed to buy the stadium the whole area would be built with hotels and more shopping centres, as well as a station and would have a football club to be proud of. I would rather have the club managed by professionals with a 'business mind' rather than amateur councillors.
I know this will really have people question my sanity but the proof is in the pudding. Have the council up till this point in time help and supported the club? I can't see anything from them. So I ask the same question of SISU., and the answer is 'yes'. They bailed us out before, they have invested millions even after being ripped off by RR, and they are still with us. They have shown remarkable resilience.
And for all you doubters out there may I ask you a question. Is your anger really directed at Joy and SISU or is it a result of our 'on-field' demise over the years?

Joy invested nothing...it was SISU's investors that she has wasted the money of
Point 2 is - We are said to be in administration by an organisation (ACL) that cannot make the Ricoh profitable and are managed by amateurs.
IIRC ACL has made a profit every year it has traded...unlike CCFC under SISU control...it begs the question - which company has amateurish management eg Ken Dulieu, Onye Igwe etc ?

SISU have made many promises.. can't really understand why anyone would expect them to keep a really big promise when they've already failed on so many smaller ones.

Andy, lets do evidence based... not faith.. in this matter.. that's the only thing that would make sense to me.

Igwe lost the money, not Ranson.
Can't see how Sisu are so good. Look at their accounts, the management company is losing money and their investors have been withdrawing cash. Cannot see how that earns them a good reputation anywhere.

SISU have a good reputation in Northern Europe and the States and have a track record second to none. Most people on here are only aware of their existance through their relationship with us. But their reputation in running a football club isnt very good though is it ......... and that is what matters to any Coventry City fan. They havent pointed fingers but plenty of people involved have left for one reason or another. They had a responsibility to ensure their stewardship of CCFC was at a high standard from day 1 not day 1095 or whenever it is they woke and realised it wasnt working. Like it or not if you become a figure head for something there are down sides aswell as up sides. I would seriously hope that they looked at and accepted their own responsibility not just paid lip service to it, that means a financial loss for their mistakes. That is just how business works - fail to plan plan to fail. Really hasnt been a great plan so far has it? Reputation counts for nothing in this business it is what you do today that counts

We are not actually even according to ACL, read the statement, that decision will be made by a judge in court sometime after 22nd March. The accounts show they are profitable, yes that includes the ccfc rent, but you said profitable the facts such as are available say they are. Clearly SISU have been caught on the hop by a few of the actions these "amateurs" have taken ..... but the facts are that the board & management of ACL includes people who have been successful in business. Stereotyping is never helpful. We have no idea if SISU could or would do all those things, certainly they are not set up to do it. There is a shopping complex there already, the station has already been planned to be built, hardly things they can claim as their initiative. Sorry but I am proud of my team it is the off field stuff that irks me

They have shown remarkable resilience. from where i look it seems like poorly planned financial control that has increased our debt burden, lowered our league position, maintained losses, achieved a huge risk to the clubs existence, alienated many fans, with a stubborn reluctance to leave because they want control of the complex as that is the only way they get their money back. But i guess that depends on where you look at this mess they have largely created for themselves.

And for all you doubters out there may I ask you a question. Is your anger really directed at Joy and SISU or is it a result of our 'on-field' demise over the years? not about anger at all it is about a financial assessment of what has been achieved and the risk that our club has been put into largely by the owners

Guess we all see it differently :thinking about:
