Are we really reduced to this? (3 Viewers)

Can't see the problem really. It's more accessible than the Ricoh was anyway. Might sell more stuff.

It's nothing to do with "the clowns". It's fans being able to buy merchandise. They can now, so what's the problem?

Is there anything you won't say to defend these clowns?

Someone check for Trevor Francis tracksuits.

There was a great Big Match Revisited on ITV 4 at the weekend. Highlights of 3 FA Cup games played in the snow and mud and a cracking exclusive interview with Peter Taylor during which he admitted that they were targeting Francis and "were prepared to pay £1 million for him".

Did you see it on Saturday? Its really small, had a few shirts and other general tat like mugs etc. Really tiny even for a market stall. Embarrassing.

Really can't see what people are moaning about. Yes, we want a Club shop, a proper one and I imagine we'll get one again, but for an interim measure what's wrong with the stall?

We had one at the Ricoh and moved out of our own accord. It has done nothing except miss out on revenue and inflict further embarrassment. We could move back to the Ricoh at any time.

It's not embarrasing unless there is a "total square footage for your club shop league", then I guess we would be bottom. It's an interim measure and by next season it'll be back where it should be, no doubt. Get over it.

Interesting that it's 'cash only' - presumably debit/credit card payments are out because of the frozen bank account - staff inform me they're paid by CCFC (Holdings) - there's not much there really - just old shirts, mugs and trivia.

Del Boy and Rodney sounds about right to me too, especially as the goods came 'off the back of a lorry' - might just raise enough money for some pies for Tim at Notts County and some dog food for Hector...

It would appear this is CCFC (Holdings)' only source of income for the time being in the absence of season ticket sales.

Laughing stock or what??

I agree. However, my point is, it's an interim measure and it's better than nothing. Surely, there are more things to be concerned about?

Merchandise sold off a decorators table for the last game & now a cart in tesco, all sold cash only.

This has gone well beyond embarrasing, even Chelsea/Villa fans I know have stopped taking the piss.
Even the Treacle's have better. How anyone cant see this as anything more than humiliating is beyond me

I am seriously not bothered. Who the fuck cares? Presumably the 'SHITSU OUT' brigade wouldn't want to buy merchandise ergo lining SHITSU's pockets anyway?

Thats not hard though is it, to be fair to Mount Nod if they have a pitch they can call home its more professional than CCFC

Can we play there? Family live in Ettington rd so handy for parking on their drive. :)

I can never understand why people are so quick to label things 'embarrassing'. Why is it? If a fan of another club saw it they would just think the club had a small concession in a Tescos store and wouldn't give it a second glance. People also say we are a 'laughing stock'. Ask fans of other clubs if they think we are worth laughing at and they will just shrug their shoulders and say they don't know and couldn't really give a shit, which is pretty much what I think of whatever club they follow.

Yes, SISU are clowns and we want them out etc, but some people do have a tendency to get hysterical.
