I was bit worried that your support was so fragmented that you might not be able to pull in a decent number. Great pics, well done. :claping hands: Don't underestimate the power that you hold.

Have to say the amount of national media coverage is a little disappointing so far. Not even anything on Sky Sports News.

Couldn't be there due to family commitments. Couldnt have asked a better turnout, superb. Bet national media would have been all over it if only 6 blokes & a dog had turned up or am I just being cynical

Any media coverage?

Yes, lots of professional cameras recording march & rally.

One lot got a vantage point in top deck of bus parked on Gosford St under ring road where they could get pictures looking down Gosford St & up Sky Blue Way.. it was still packed all the way up as far as they could see when I passed them & I must have been nearer end of marchers than the front..

Apologies to anyone with a lower resolution monitor for my pic, I thought the board software resizes automatically (unless it does and this post makes no sense, in which case keep moving buster)

Following this from the interior of Portugal with watery eyes. Thanks to everyone and the SBT for making this such a fantastic event. It's not just a protest, it's a statement of solidarity in the face of adversity and about how much our club means to each of us. What fantastic supporters - truly humbling.

It was great to see so many people coming together in the right spirit; even if nothing was to come of it, it's still just nice to see it happen in the first place. Now, let's go back to slagging each other off on the internet!

Can honestly say i expected a few hundred, got there late so met the procession at the roundabout by the uni and could easily hear it before i saw it!

Then as the procession apeared with 2 lady godivas leading from the front it was an Awesome sight.

thought i would take some photos while waiting for the back..... after 5 minute and still coulnd't see the rear i had to just join in even then at the top by the herbert art gallery i couldn't see the back was fantastic

I have no idea how many people were there but it was ALOT

Just got home, great turnout, to see sky blue fans streaming all the way down sky blue way and up gosford street was humbling. God i hope something good can come from this, well done to the trust, this was just the kind of thing that is needed, a 20 minute march from our spiritual home into the city centre and i have to say a rousing speech from Moz Baker. A quick question, were there any fans there today that are planning to go to Northampton, if so has this done anything to change your'e minds. If this is done again can we ask the transport museum for the F.A cup bus and get the lady godiva's to give me a backy.

I think they tried to get the bus, but it's not roadworthy or something to that end.
That's a shame. don't think i was very far from you judging from your pic, remember seeing the sky blue tricolour flag but think i was on the other side of the road.

I've never heard it called that before!

just a minute while i hook the PC up to my 90" TV to look at it ....

Nah, just checked and the board software here does resize according to your resolution so I'm cleared of all charges. (If you view the photo independently with actual size, it'd give you carpal tunnel syndrome scrolling the whole thing)

Stayed till the end and got back a short time ago. Excellent turnout by the SBA and feel privileged to have been part of it. Could not see the back or front of the march at any stage as it moved into town . Coventry City former players association hinted at an alternative event being planned at the Ricoh on Sunday August 11th, the day of the first CCFC 'home' game in Northampton vs Bristol City. What was also good to hear was a message from the Bristol City supporters trust saying they were recommending to their supporters that they boycott that game in support of us.

This guy's agile. When a police car hit the sirens (I assume to try and move people along rather than him climbing on property) he vaulted down and landed like a cat.

Normally he has a TV on his back and a bluray player under his arm..... Alledgedly....

Just got home, it's been a nightmare week trying to pull this together. One day someone will spill the beans but that's for another day. This wasn't a Trust protest, if only the board members turn up its not a protest its a few fans having a get together and a walk. Coventry fans made this what it was today. Every single one that turned up. Every one that couldn't but sent best wishes. My job was to make sure the girls and the horses were ok (thankless task but someone had to do it :) ) so my mind was elsewhere for much of the rally. When the girls crossed the road into the park and the SBA started singing. I near shit myself thinking the horses would go mental but it was spine tingling. I got a lump in my throat. Once the march had started we waited to bring up the rear with the horse box, and we waited and waited and waited. Watching the SBA on the march not seeing where it started was a sight to behold.
Great turn out,
I'm going to have a few beers tonight :)
