Ranson offered his resignation as soon as he realised SISU were not following the plan they started with , as soon as they cashed in on Fox and Dann he probably knew where we were heading. He gets some unfair stick imo.

Spot on. He wasn't to know this was going to happen. 4 good people left very quickly as soon as they realised what was happening.

Thought he said HE would leave the club in a much better position...don't remember him mentioning SISU but could be wrong as the mind is starting to play tricks with never ending procession of shit we keep being dealt.

Didn't he make about £ 1.5 million out of the club on extortionate loan interest??? He's another fucker who deserves the hatchet along with all the other culpable pie fingered bastards !

Sadly most CCFC fans thought the same and were taken in by these lying, manipulative money hungry bastards.

That's not a nice thing to say about your local council.

Absolutely. I was one of them. Like many others I signed over shares that were in my family for the best part of a century. Ranson/Elliott/ect were duped just like me and every fan that signed over the club to SISU.

With regard to Joe he cares just as much as any other City fan. Done a hell of a lot for this club in the last few decades for not a lot back. He made mistakes, yes. Would he intentionally comit an act to harm the club like others, no.

If Ranson had wanted to know what his investors were like...

Then he's a moron if he didn't know.

And shouldn't have been left near a football club if he didn't know as it suggests incompetence of the highest order.

Nonsense.

nobody was duped, some just chose to be duped.

Those in charge at our club are culpable, desperately culpable and should not be let off the hook just because they 'care'. Simplistic excuses like they didn't know don't wash.

if they didn't know, why did they choose not to listen?

Elliott has spent the last few years being far too closely involved with every diabolical act that has happened since we signed away our rights to the Ricoh, and finally sold Highfield Road for good.

Intentionally devious? No. Incompetent and hopeless and should never be trusted with a position of power at our club ever again? Most certainly.

Load of bollocks.

Can't believe that people still give that twat Ranson leeway.

Think that some make it up so as to assuage their consciences that they thought that Ranson and Sisu were the best thing since sliced bread, and rather than just admit that they were actually wrong try to make out that they were fooled, and if that nice, football man and ruthless businessman Ranson could be taken in by them, then nobody can blame them surely?

Balls the lot of it.

There can be an alternative that doesn't involve SISU, doesn't involve Elliott, doesn't involve Hoffman.

or are they the only groups that care about our club?

I wonder how happy those who begged ACL to reject the CVA so an investigation can be conducted are feeling now.

Did any of the four who left give the rest of us any clues as to what was to come or did they take a 'pot of silence' silver with them?

2 points
1. This was before the recession kicked in and SiSu moved the goalpost.....or sold them for an undisclosed fee!!
2. SiSu haven't left yet!! sadly

I think he was a good guy, and got out at the right time, after he knew if he stuck around, he'd be shat on.

He'd probably be Tim Fisher by now if he'd stuck around. Only difference being, he wasn't afraid to say 'no' and has more balls than Fisher

your name is full of the same as you, fill of crap. I believe not a single REAL Sky Blue's fan will in anyway be celebrating that our club is going to the wall. Just WUM like you as it has given you even more joy and excuses to come on here and wind people up. people like you make me sick, taking pleasure at other people's misery just to make yourself feel important, just like the owners you like to call our saviours.

Now, I'm going out on a limb here admittedly, but I would guess NO ONE IS FUCKING HAPPY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TODAY.

And breathe.

You'd be surprised, I imagine there will be a few patting ACL on the back for not caving in to bully boy SISUs tactics. A lot of people were hoping ACL would reject the CVA for some odd reason

I would have liked to agree with you Torchie but some on here will be. The likes of so called True Sky Blue, Northern Wisdom (More like Norman)and all the other idiots that will only ever say it is ACL's fault. Or say ACL blocked the CVA when it is clear even the Tax man said no. they just piss me right off. But I would say no GENUINE Sky Blue fan will be happy.

I bet he regrets not noticing that NothernWisdom resembles Norman Wisdom when he chose the username. Opened himself up to all kinds of unwitting japes.

Think the real issues started when we left Highfield.

No, he got back money owed from sale of Prozone to Sisu. You are confusing issues, he never lent the club any money.

Yes he did a million paid pack at almost Wonga.com levels of interest.

One of those shady loans which are just another way of taking money out a company.

As OSB wrote up on Pro-zone on the Boards and Finances thread , it really wasn't the great business that many made it out to be
