996 CCFC supporters there. In that mix will be the corporates who get in free, the freebies given away. Colchester coming up soon, with their 200 away support. Quite quickly it will dip below 1,000.
The saddest day in our history, truly dreadful way Sisu have trodden over us supporters. They care about nothing but money.
CCFC fans at Sixfields hang your heads in shame. A disgrace the lot of you. You are prolonging our stay out of Coventry. Idiots.

As are those who provide ACL with revenue from food,,drink and parking.

Need to starve them both back into talks, if they get their food, drink and parking money in without the team then what incentive is there for them to want the club back?

Pull your head out of your arse. Staying away from sixfields will have no impact on SISU - they're a hedge fund, they make a living out of betting against the crowd - they'll do what they want. Support the team that's all that matters IMO.

Great argument there, care to expand?

I wouldn't hold your breath.

I can understand the Sixfields boycott and what it is trying to achieve (even if I think it will make no real difference). I can understand protests and the march into Broadgate was a wonderful statement. The big ACL love-in today though (and for some that's what it was - at least in part) I do not get at all.

No way that crowd was correct, looked like less than 1500.

Anyone seen that season ticket holder on tv, said he had been given two free tickets? I bet 200 were given away.

I hesitate to ask in case it becomes a big bitchslapping contest again, but did you go to either today?

(Comes to something when I barely dare voice the most mundane question!)

I suggest you "pull your head out of your arse". As a hedge fund, SISU are making a very meagre living at the moment and if it wasn't for gullible people like you, would be out of business tomorrow.

The 'crowd' pictures are starting to filter through. Rows and rows of empty seats. First game of the season against a well supported team.
Watch the 'party' dwindle away against the likes of Colchester, Crawley, Stevenage, Shrewsbury, Walsall etc etc. 996 fans on first 'home' game of season. Pathetic.
8,000 to watch a bunch of old timers at the Ricoh.
What a sad day for our club.

I am not going anywhere near Sixfields. I'm not interetsed in following CCFC when they are at "Home" in Northampton

Not shall I...

There was just a strange empty kind of feel about 3pm. I didn't listen for updates, I checked t'interweb at half time & again after 90, 93, 94,95...etc. I'm glad we won. The excitement has gone though.

The fans that went to sixfields today .......Send em to Coventry !
Why? For supporting in their own way? It's typical that once you're bored of moaning about Sisu and ACL, people start looking for someone new, until they feel they've been heard. Usually it's the manager they turn on at some point, but in our situation it's fans turning on fans. If you believe the best way out of this is to starve Sisu of money, fair enough go for it, but don't have a go at supporters who may think differently to you and would like to pay our player's wages. This isn't the fucking 80s mining strikes, people's lives don't depend on the picket line so can this stop now and we all get on with prgress.
2 of my mates went today - had a wicked day! Everyone who went to the Ricoh for the charity match - did you know ACL charged them for it, on top of taking the revenue for food/drink? Who's pockets do you line - ACL/Sisu - they're evidentally both corrupt.
I'm not ever going to Sixfields, but I envy those who did today, and I don't hold anything against them.

you missed a cracker today. The only soul that remains in ccfc rest with the players. It wouldn't make sense not to support them.

Oh come on. I am clearly making reference to the fact I was uncomfortable that today's game benefited (financially) an organisation I hold (partially) responsible for the position we find ourselves in. For that reason, I abstained, but that doesn't mean I'm not behind the campaign to bring the club home, and doesn't mean I'll be buying a ST at Sixfields in any hurry. It just didn't sit well is all I'm saying, and I know a few others felt the same.
