Is there more 'home' fans there than last time?

If I was in Fishers job and the crowd today doesn't turn out to be substantially bigger I'd be very worried. Decent enough weather, bank holiday weekend, couple of good results and no legends game should all add up to a much bigger turn out than the first home game. If it isn't I'm not sure there's any chance of it getting significantly better over the course of the season.

it's a really odd matchday when you're just following on twitter and on here. I can't remember the last time I've been in the country and not either at the game or listening to CWR.

According to CWR there's more CCFC fans there than the Bristol game :-/

hard to tell from the pics on twitter but the main stand looks around the same (busy in the middle then thinning out as you go towards the goal lines), the 'home' end behind the goal looks like there's less than before and PNE have a lot less than Bristol.

I thought we were reliably informed by the likes of Easterngreen and Edgy that Preston had packed out 25 coaches plus, over 1300 fans... oh dear.
I expect them to announce a few 100 more 'home fans' how many are paying who knows, we wont find out in our lifetime.

and yes Linnell is a prize c-unit.

The lowest Cov home league crowd in the club’s history, 2,059, set in February 1928 for a Monday afternoon 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace....

Are we about to break the record?? probably a close one...

Hopefully. You'll always get a few weak ones that will cave in after a couple of wins.

Don't know whether it's interesting ot not but just noticed that the Sky reporter is inside the concourse....not showing any pictures of the crowd.
Are you sure. They usually stand at the back of the east stand. If they stood on the concourse they wouldn't be able to see the game

Perhaps concourse was the wrong word, definitely 'inside'the stand. Noticed for the first report so looked more closely at the second. No sign of the pitch or the crowd.
