I gave you a couple of ideas via email for future protests, did you disregard them? It was a suggestion that not all protests should be focused on sisu and Ricoh events shouldn't be promoted

Forgot to say that I think this is an interesting way forward and moves us on from the cul-de-sac of the ac;/sisu blame game: "Kcic is calling for an Independent Inquiry into the causes of the problems facing CCFC and for all the parties and individuals involved to be called to account. There are a number of options for doing this, and for a public launch of the initiative, which are being considered. Details will be published shortly."

in years to come, sisu will be evaluated as an abysmal outfit,
who have strategically sought to destroy OUR CLUB to suit their own desire for profit from utter mis-management of Coventry City,
imho, that is,
what will never disappear, is the resentment caused & justifiably held toward their actions,
as far as public support is concerned, i reckon they'd be on a 5% level,
let's hear more from our elected parliamentarians concerning our plight,
& let's see & hear from JS & the F/L to justify their stances,

what action do you have in mind for acl and the council and, the big question, are you up for organising something?

Maybe you need to do this as a sticky so it doesn't have to keep on being repeated.

I know exactly what I want from sisu (move back to Ricoh) and FL (overturn their decision). I've got a clear pr line and, with help from other people, have got the small scale events working well and ideas for themes/gimmicks for the next few. ~I've already got more than enough on my plate with this Sunday (and depending how it goes possibly 15 Sept and ongoing), London 11 and 25 Sept, and developing a plan for launch of Independent Inquiry initiative. So asking for ideas for what form an acl/council protest would take, the pr message, key theme, and whether people would help organise it, would strike most people as entirely reasonable!

It's more the picnic that's laughable I'd suggest. It's, in my opinion, completely cringeworthy and makes us look pathetic. A picnic for fuck sake. Striking fear into all. If I was available and was planning on going to the hill this weekend, calling it a protest picnic would definitely stop me from going.

Each to their own and all that though of course. Can I suggest some couscous dip. It really is a delight.

I think the point that many are trying to make is the very idea of tying pretty ribbons on signposts or staging a party/picnic in northants (which in itself, as a choice of venue, is rather contradictory) are just not "football fan" enough in their approach....

....I think the majority have made this clear......just look at the turn out to these types of events/protests......its usually in single figures.....this is nothing to do with a lack of passion from the majority.....surely its all to do with a lack of interest in the methods chosen.

I still don't get travelling to northants to protest about travelling to northants.??

I still don't get why, by now, there isn't a popular & coherent plan with regards the upcoming SKY game against Sheff Utd. Their have been several threads on here that have raised some great ideas over the weeks....but its now looking like the game will just pass off without incident/protest etc.

Surely, the trust should stop fiddling on the edges with protests that attract little or no attention and are attended by a few & focus all their combined energies on organise the next LARGE scale protest.....

Good point about the Sheff Utd game, their needs to be a plan for that game asap.
