I went to the Hill today and took lots of pictures. Some great advantages, food and beer available within a short walk and a great crowd to talk with.
Not too sure how many of us was on the hill today but I am sure numbers will grow.

I went to watch Northampton v Scunny yesterday and on the Hill was a very smart guy in shirt and tie, standing in the long grass. Now, although it was a fair distance away, I convinced myself it was Timmy doing a reccy.........

proud of all you guys that stood on the hill today...brilliant!
Could'nt make it myself, but will definitely be there for the sheff utd game
Its time for the ones that go in the ground to re-examine their reasons/jutification for going and form a united front against SISU.

Numbers have been growing on the hill since Bristol, yet seem to be getting less vocal. Couldn't anything from you guys.

Probably due to the wind and weather. We could only hear a little from the ground and that was the Colchester fans but there were facing us.

Couldn't of been the Colchester fans. I was in the corner by the away end, and I couldn't hear them. Very. very poor from them today.

What do you guys intend to achieve by standing on the hill?

I would imagine that people go for a variety of reasons. Why not join them one week and ask? Everyone was very friendly.

I went to show my support, back the NOPM campaign and like to think it annoys the shite out of the board that we are there making a noise. And getting a mention on Sky sports. You can also catch most of the game, which is a bonus.

How do you perceive paying money over to SISU in Northampton will help get the club back to the city it takes its name from?

Great to see the people on the Hill providing support for bringing CCFC back to Coventry. I support the same ends even though I disagree with all the NOPM stuff as a means of going about it. That said, today I saw no "fan against fan" animosity that we are all often commenting about online, and I'm wondering in reality whether it's actually manifested or not, hopefully it's just all keyboard warrior stuff. Pretty clearly if there are any real divisions they are not even, 8-9 to 1 against Sisu of course, so those on the Hill representing the majority deserve some credit, fair play to them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't going to the hill supporting NOPM more than it is KCIC? Fans travelling to the ground but not entering, fair enough is not giving SISU money, but it's surely still costing people money to get there.

KCIC is a campaign to bring Cov back to playing in Cov, and fans making a point that they won't go to Northampton, hence not attending games / Northampton.

I'm critical of neither supporters of either campaign, but just thought the two might be mixed up

Good amount of pictures there!

Don't suppose you got any to prove the bus was still there until after FT for that fool on CWR did you? ;)

Not sure what this means but I was on the bus and it left a good ten minutes or more after the final whistle. Dunno why someone who went into Sixfields would actually mention that on the radio. Maybe he saw it move around the island about ten minutes from the end, I'll be kind and say his view of where the bus stopped may have been hidden. One of the lads took pics of the banners being taken down after the game with the bus behind them.

I'm fine in the ground. Better view and that.

Would it annoy the board?
We can't hear you in the ground, just kind of see you a bit.
You didn't get on Sky Sports today.

I don't give many fucks really, apart from cheering the boys wearing the colours who need support. That's my stance.

*Que theeee same boring abuse to anyone who thinks differently to the majority*

He was trying to have a dig at the 'hillers' I think, and was struggling. Went on to say that the fans inside the stadium were having a good laugh (stated the whole stand were laughing, but that in itself probably wasn't many fans) as the bus left a whole 8 minutes before the end.

In fairness to Stuart Linell, he dismissed this claim promptly, and even after the caller tried to make out he was making excuses, Stuart continued saying it was there until atleast final whistle, although it may have moved from viewing of the fans inside.

Caller went on to say 'that's your opinion Stuart' but I think he failed to realise that if you state something that is only one of two things; it's there or it isn't; the other parties argument is either true or false, and not an opinion.

That caller was digging himself a hole and SL never gave up and the caller ended up looking a prat

Yes i heard that call, Joe was his name, he basically ridiculed everyone on the hill and thought those inside the ground were somehow how more superior to those outside.
Arrogant and totally misguided in my humble opinion

You know "thinking differently from the majority" isn't always a good thing. It's about what you think, although from your posts I'd imagine its not a lot.

Perhaps let fans be fans. Did they count all the high horses in the attendance today?

The Sheffield game is a big one. I will be on the hill for the first time that day. Where are people parking?

One hope is that the people in Sixfields will change their stance. It will be harder for them because they are experiencing the best form in years. That will show their true mettle if they are prepared to stand alongside the fans on the hill.
