following 2nd goal scabs
Genius..............
following 2nd goal scabs
Good call but would they leave their seats to come outside and besides the gates would be locked.
Okay, I know I am wasting my time here. 1 - first instance of any name calling was a car load of so - called 'City' fans who exited the stadium following Brentford's 2nd goal - driving past, hanging out of the windows shouting "Hill monkey w@nkers" at people on the Hill. This led to one or two people on the hill calling the next lot of 'loyal' fans exiting the stadium following 2nd goal scabs. A chap responded by shouting "Support the team you b@stards!" and then made his way past people on the Hill continuing with a tirade of foul mouthed abuse. He obviously got a verbal response and never in a million years was there any danger of anyone from the Hill getting physical with him. Next up came some short fellow with a gang of mates sniggering and laughing at people on the Hill. They got a lot of abuse, ie called scabs but no threats of violence. I think it was all of the posters from the GMK fanzine, about 6 of them.
So to sum up, the people who go inside the sixfields started it. Quite frankly, the people on the hill were very restrained and dignified. And fair play to the Brentford fans on the hill. Snidey comments have been taking place for weeks from people going into the stadium, perhaps it is the guilt complex or something?
If you were on the hill you must be lying as they are all hooligans and not true fans there to watch for free and mud sling.
Those going in the ground are all gentle people who would not say boo to a goose and are only there because they are the only True Fans!!!

I will do that at some point for sure. Won't give up on City though, will just do all the away games.
Far too much nonsense going on and being posted. Lots of very interesting posts and opinions but of course we do have to suffer those who IMHO have an obsession regarding our Owners ( and no, I'm not trying to defend then). Not enough questions have been asked of "Coventry City Council (and the 54 Councillors who voted to 'bail-out' ACL!) WHY? I understand that some people have problems about getting to Northampton and maybe some who can't afford either time, money or hassle involved. I also appreciate how difficult and upsetting it must be for the fans of tomorrow (those youngsters who either play on Sunday or don't have anyone to accompany them.
Personally for myself it's a pain in the 'back-side' but following much heart searching decided to renew my season ticket and was so impressed with the first game, a 5-4 win, purchased another season ticket the following Monday (so either of my sons could attend). They've been to 3 games and have enjoyed more than the majority at the Ricoh!
In fact after the Preston game they both said they'd enjoyed the atmosphere and style of play more than any other game since our last at Highfield Road against Derby.
For the RECORD ...........
I DON'T SUPPORT AND HAVE PROBABLY NEVER LIKED ANY OF OUR Owners, any COUNCIL, STADIA or STADIA OPPERATORS!
I support the Team & Manager and will hopefully do so for many years to come, where ever they play (but hopefully in Coventry in the not to distant future) in a Stadium owned either by the Club or their Owners that has access to ALL REVENUE STREAMS, FIFA Fair Play Rules based on total "Gross Incomes" and not as many posters on here seem to think' profits!
Uwe had done his homework today and following the first quarter of an hour or so when we played like Brazil they more than nullified us and certainly out muscled us but hey-ho onwards and upwards PUSB!
They won't be going anywhere so you need to re-think!
Not surprised. A group of people yelling 'scabs' as people left the ground. Could sense it might happen.
I cannot be arsed anymore with all this shit.
sorry to hear that mate, i support nopm, but having a pop at each other aint good. pusb.Just got back from the game never have I been so down in over 50 years getting called a scab when all I want to do is support the team not proud of myself either the way I reacted not sure i wan't to go anymore if this is what it comes to.

It was always going to happen as the numbers on JsH grew...& the frustration & boredom sank in.
SISU will secretly be laughing their socks off as they'll privately claim the "genuine fans" are in the ground peacefully supporting - the others are boycotting matches or inciting the "genuine fans" & trying to scare them away.
Utterly mindless & divisive actions by I would guess a small minority, then it escalates.

The hill is public land Wiseoldfool was abused due to the fact the abusers were abused. He said in his post he didnt like the way he reacted but he did react just as his abusers reacted no different unless that is the people on the hill should be subject to any abuse and just take itI'm firmly in the NOPM camp. I do not go anywhere near Sickfields. However, each to their own - if you choose to go - then go & don't let a few either tanked-up or simple morons deter you with bullying & threatening behaviours.
I think they will have now killed their own protest & ruined it for the majority of those with them too. Bet the police will take some preventative action next time i.e. Nobody allowed on the hill!!!

You obviously know the gmk posters.you had better back up your comments with some names,if you can't then keep these allegations to yourself.
i'm no genius but i'm pretty sure the comment about GMK posters was tongue in cheek, he was saying there are only 6 posters on GMK. think about it.

And how do you know all the posters on GMK by sight?

I think the time has come for a mass protest that everyone can get behind - something like the march in the summer which brought everyone together.
No idea what that could be though.
As an aside, I saw a couple of people with red and green bar scarves today. I like that idea, although I know some people are dismissive of it. I would happily buy a job lot and shift them online at cost if I thought people would buy them.
Mass protest should be everyone turning up at the Ricoh on match day in their thousands, not a few standing on a bloody hill getting a free look at the game into the bargain if you want to be taken seriously!
Of course, if somebody abuses you it is human nature to have a go back. The difference here was that a few people chose to have a go at random people leaving the ground, people who had not said a word to them. This was the first time people on the hill have aimed abuse at people leaving the ground, and this is the first time there has been a confrontation, so it's hardly a coincidence. Still a sorry episode all round, and emotions are running high so no point making rash judgements. The people I have seen on the hill have always been respectful, so hopefully today was just a blip. It's sad to hear that people are abusing the protestors though - shouting stuff from a car is playground stuff.
I just got blocked by Keep cov in covs website for calling them childish. Im on their side, There are certain people who are getting a bit power hungry
