It wasn't me.
Fair enough. I'm not one of those who feels any animosity towards those that choose to protest in that way. I quite admire people who travel all that way to stand in all weathers that far from the action (which you can't see for the most part). Takes a lot of dedication does that.

Ban Alcohol from inside stadia , don't let anybody in who has had a drink,close all pubs within a 5 mile radius of the ground.
Wouldn't be popular but would probably work.

Stop talking like a pratt, there are good fans inside the ground and good fans on the hill. i have been on the hill because it was my choice,why dont you think about it. if people go into the ground its their own choice .or does it upset you.

I was taking the piss actually have only missed 1 game on the hill today couldn't make it due to other plans i went to the last one left at half time then did a 12 hour shift will be doing the same for the Sheffield game as I will not take time off to go to Northampton I have however booked off next Saturday to go to Stevenage.
I have called people things on here but have never called anyone a scab for going to the match but have had abuse hurled at me I am big enough and old enough not to take it to heart shame others aren't.

I heard it was some super fans leaving early when the second goal went in who started slagging those on Jimmy's Hill - and then a small group of them reacted. All hand bags and drink but a very sad day for CCFC nonetheless.

I remember the Sheffield Wednesday Quarter final match when Cov fans in the bottom Right hand Corner started fighting one another because they were pushed in the crush so really nothing new.
They have fought over managers players and all sorts for the last 40 years that I have been going so it was always a matter of time nothing new at Cov or any other football club..

I wanted to reply to this because what you say in theory could work but is impractical tbh.
What must be done is what needs to be done across the country. make people responsible for their actions and if they are not face serious consequences and fines (including a night in the drunk tank) Punishing everyone for the mindless few is wrong.
If you need an ambulance to attend you for being so out of it that you have only yourself to blame for then the NHS should bill you and the police fine you for wasting their time and the drunk tank overnight cost you as well. You could face hundreds of pounds for failing to take responsibility for your actions. That would stop it in it's tracks.
Instead we continue to fine drivers for minor offending, dock 3 points and the punishment never fits the crime as it is too excessive while we keep letting drunken idiots get away with it and costing us the taxpayer loads of money to sort it and the idiots out.

The positive on here is for once there has been an acceptance that we are in this altogether and sensible discussion has taken place. We just have different views about how to lodge our protest. The fact is people have the right to attend, stand on the hill or indeed stay at home. They are individual decisions made for all sorts of reasons.
We are still all fans of Coventry City FC. So while this situation is still forced upon us can we sign up to the following. Pre and post match at Sixfields fans, attending either the hill or the ground sing together.
Sky Blue Army or Let's All Sing Together.

And just a quick note people who have been attending sickfields, said " we're playing well because there's no boo boys", i knew that was rubbish, and that was comfirmed yesterday , in the first half , Adam Barton had the ball, and all you could hear were howls and groans, and this was still in the first half. I think yesterday was a water shed for sickfields, and a few attendees have pulled their heads out of the sand. NOPM.
