is simple.................. no body goes, totally empty home section. all those who say "we just want to support the lads" should remember that none of "the lads " will be here in 5 years time, unlikely the manager or most of the coaching staff will be either, but we will (god willing). so its about time those selfish people really did look at the bigger picture, they wouldn't even miss the game because of sky coverage . it is a chance to show solidarity, and to let the whole country know that we wont take this shit lying down.

I know I will get slated for this but those who go on sunday will be scabs to me, there is no excuse.

You are going to lose a lot of people at 'selfish'

And also, I won't be going myself, but who really gives a fuck what you think?

Thought that was the hold point of clicking on a football forum to see what other people think

I'm talking about the people who decide to go. "Oh no, someone thinks I'm a scab" wether it's on a forum or not is irrelevant. People can make their own minds up what they want to do, I'm sick of the same bollocks every day.

And it's pathetic calling people scabs anyway. Fuck me.

If you go a GMK, everyone goes sixfields from there.

If you tried telling them this, you'd get slated.

So I'm a scab then and so are my kids.nice to know the clubs in safe hands with fans like you, I respect the fans on the hill and the boycotters, personally don't think there's anything we can do about the mess we're in, , it's out of our hands . you'll see on sky sunday that it's a depressing place to be but for 90 mins on sunday we'll all be wanting the same thing.enjoy the game....

If you yourself are not going on the hill at all though maybe it's time you thought of a name change!;)

Everybody knows enough about City's predicament now.
I don't actually think any more publicity stunts are necessary tbh, they will not bring the club back to Cov.
The key parties are SISU and the Council, protests at Northampton put pressure on neither.

Its a great idea and having an empty stadium. it would have a great effect, however some people cannot do this and insist on going, hence why we need the Hill busy on Sunday. We need to make so much noise its heard on Sky.
As I understand it they are going to set off some sort of siren or alarm in the sercond half to ask those present to evacuate, but we know that those who do go to Sixfields will not care.
Could you imagine a stadium being emptied on live tv and everyone together on hill to watch remainder of the game?.

nobody will be watching a lower 3rd division game on Sunday

I am going to the pub to watch the game. I myself think this is an excellent idea, as I will watch and hopefully enjoy our performance. Defence needs to be on top form as KIngs movement will cause problems.

I could imagine that but sadly, it would only be in my imagination.

Between the lot of us, we couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. One person will say something that a few others will decry as utter bollocks and so on and so on and so on and so on. At the end of the day, we can all procrastinate here until the cows come home, fuck all will ever get done and we'll have to accept what's dolled out to us in the future.

And if anyone else says I've got a great idea for Sunday, would they please kindly stick it up their chocolate starfish!

Bet they will, no other football on, Internations on so this is the highst level available.

Don't mean to say they will be watching us, unless they are CCFC fans. I certainly wouldn't bother with League 1 football, I'd rather platt my chest hair!

I'm really struggling with what to do. I think I'm going to go with the following:

1. Buy a ticket for the game but not go.
2. Put a bet on at any bookmaker except for SkyBet.
3. Buy a pizza from anywhere but Papa John's.
4. Start watching the game on Sky at my house and then switch it off 10 minutes in.
5. Go and stand on the hill* near my house and sing some City songs, ending with an anti-Sisu chant, to which I will give myself a stern look, before pushing myself in the chest and calling myself a f**king idiot. I'll tell myself to calm down and remind me that we're all City fans at the end of day. I'll shake my hand and pat myself on the back, before repeating the above but with anti-ACL chants starting the commotion.
6. Go to the Old Shepherd and watch the second half**.
7. Check if my bets have come in.
8. Go home and eat my pizza.

(*I say hill, it's more of a mound).
(**I will check the half time score on the radio first, and if we're not doing very well I probably won't bother).

Why do people going keep calling themselves scabs? In addition the media picks up on this and escalates it as an issue when I can't find it anywhere where someone is calling you a scab.
Even in this thread you are the only one to mention it and from what I see the general opinion does not mention this.

It's as if you try to justify going by saying its our fault because we evidently call you a scab.

Stop being a victim and just do what you want. Don't post if you don't want your view to be challenged.
