I'm really struggling with what to do. I think I'm going to go with the following:

1. Buy a ticket for the game but not go.
2. Put a bet on at any bookmaker except for SkyBet.
3. Buy a pizza from anywhere but Papa John's.
4. Start watching the game on Sky at my house and then switch it off 10 minutes in.
5. Go and stand on the hill* near my house and sing some City songs, ending with an anti-Sisu chant, to which I will give myself a stern look, before pushing myself in the chest and calling myself a f**king idiot. I'll tell myself to calm down and remind me that we're all City fans at the end of day. I'll shake my hand and pat myself on the back, before repeating the above but with anti-ACL chants starting the commotion.
6. Go to the Old Shepherd and watch the second half**.
7. Check if my bets have come in.
8. Go home and eat my pizza.

(*I say hill, it's more of a mound).
(**I will check the half time score on the radio first, and if we're not doing very well I probably won't bother).

We should all do what we feel is right.
No one is winning this war and the only people who are hurting are us fans.

I will be on the Hill on Sunday, probably the last time I go to Nothampton but its my choice, just as it the right for those who wish to go in to Sixfields. Others like Brian have just given up and who can blame them, I will be just like that soon as its hard to keep up the will to fight for what is right,
However, I will be on that Hill at Sixfields on Sunday to watch the game and make some noise.

is simple.................. no body goes, totally empty home section. all those who say "we just want to support the lads" should remember that none of "the lads " will be here in 5 years time, unlikely the manager or most of the coaching staff will be either, but we will (god willing). so its about time those selfish people really did look at the bigger picture, they wouldn't even miss the game because of sky coverage . it is a chance to show solidarity, and to let the whole country know that we wont take this shit lying down.

I know I will get slated for this but those who go on sunday will be scabs to me, there is no excuse.

So your idea is... dont go to home games! I can't think why nobody has thought of this, oh wait...

Haha! You missed out:
"Have a long hard look at myself in the mirror and had a quiet word"

Obviously, this is an opportunity for all City fans to unite under one message: "Cov in Cov".
The minority will insist on their right to "support the lads" tho'. forgetting that solidarity with those fans who cannot get to Northants at all may be a more laudable stance.

Why do people going keep calling themselves scabs? In addition the media picks up on this and escalates it as an issue when I can't find it anywhere where someone is calling you a scab.
Even in this thread you are the only one to mention it and from what I see the general opinion does not mention this.

It's as if you try to justify going by saying its our fault because we evidently call you a scab.

Stop being a victim and just do what you want. Don't post if you don't want your view to be challenged.

Read the first post you total plonker

It's deranged tripe like this which in the end will encourage me to attend.

Genius.
I will probably do the same but include (5a) Paint "SISU out" on my balls and throw them over my neighbours fence.

This is the work of a double agent trying to stop successful protests, and no mistake:thinking about:

So what if they do go though? Surely if you are going to say they are scabs you will get slated?

I think people have got the wrong end of the stick.
What I was trying to say was the vast majority of the people on GMK (according to that sixfields thread) go the the 'home' games.

It was a joke to get him off here saying silly scab comments.

F**k off.

That's all I have to say to a parasite like you.

I based the scab remark as a personal view, im an old school type , that thinks if you want to change something you, as a group have to stick together. as for not going to the game on sunday, the whole point is to show solidarity in the desire to bring city back to Coventry, and cause the owners a degree of humiliation.
you clearly don't own a dictionary, and don't know me, I am not a parasite, as you will see from the timeing of my posts that I have been out at work all day, unlike some who have time to read forums and post all day. I have a life.

So I'm a scab then and so are my kids.nice to know the clubs in safe hands with fans like you, I respect the fans on the hill and the boycotters, personally don't think there's anything we can do about the mess we're in, , it's out of our hands . you'll see on sky sunday that it's a depressing place to be but for 90 mins on sunday we'll all be wanting the same thing.enjoy the game....

Quinn whilst I fully respect your decision to go attend Sixfields, you are definitely wrong to say "personally don't think there's anything we can do about the mess we're in, , it's out of our hands"

Money is the only thing SISU understand. Every decision, every move they make is financially motivated. And of all the selfish, outrageous decisions they've made, the decision to move away from Coventry was the most despicable. They've treated their customers with utter contempt and arrogantly assumed that those same customers would follow them to Northampton. Well now they're starting to realise how wrong that assumption was.

Starving SISU of gate money is a potent weapon and in my opinion the NOPM campaign is responsible for making Ms Seppala realise that she is going to need her customers, the fans, 'on board' if she is going to stand any chance of getting what she wants. Hence the recent media interviews.

It's not out of our hands Quinn. United, the fans can have a massive influence.

Being 'an old school type' I would have thought you'd know what a 'scab' actually is. I have never crossed a picket line in my life but I do go to Sixfields. Where's the fucking picket line? Where is the collective action to reduce productivity? A bunch of blokes shouting from a hill? You're an idiot.

the collective action to reduce productivity , (or to starve sisu of income) is the NOPM campaign which is being undermined by people like you. And as an old school person you should know picket lines were made illegal by the thatcher government. so im not suggesting breaking the law, nor do I have to stupe to personal insults.

People come on giving it scab but I doubt most on here have ever seen a picket line, I know I haven't.

Well, I'm an old school type who believes it's nice to be nice. Scab is not a nice word.

An old school type who believes the best way to bring people around to your way of thinking isn't to hurl abuse and ancient irrelevant slang at those who disagree.

At the moment, the likes of you are more an abomination to CCFC than SISU or ACL have ever been.

Picket lines are legal, you really are showing your ignorance now. Thatcher outlawed flying pickets.

Well I for one called you none of them.

I did suggest you were mornically insulting people however, which you are.

In fact your post is so daft, you must be one of those fabled SISU plants we hear so much of, as only somebody wanting to divide our fanbase, set ourselves against each other, would be so crass, mindless, ridiculous and downright idiotic in its content.

If you want a spade called a spade, think about what words suit to call you.

And those who like the OP too, shame on you.

Is this protest on Sunday really an underlying current of hatred against our fellow fan?

because if so, I'm out.

the fan base is divided and it wasn't me who made the mindless crass and ridiculous decision to go to northhampton. and if you go back to the opening thread I did say this was an opportunity to show solidarity to each other, to unite in a well televised protest.

It was you who made the nobbish comments though.

I'll be proud to shake the hands of anybody who calls themselves a city fan, as long as they respect others.

If they don't, then they're no fan of my club.
