Second Timeframe Missed (4 Viewers)

On 17th September Les Reid's article in the Telegraph focused around the 'eight-week target' being missed (http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-miss-eight-week-target-6039709)

The line from CBRE was:

A spokesman for CBRE said: “We are continuing to work closely with the club to find a suitable location, with four potential sites currently being considered, one of which we have agreed terms on, and this continues to progress well.

“Due diligence on the site is likely to take a further four weeks.

“As previously confirmed, we have short-listed a handful of sites, all of which are within six miles of Coventry city centre.

The 17th September was four weeks ago. Still no further forwards are we Mr Fisher? Yet another self-imposed timeframe to reassure fans that you've missed - much like the ten days it was going to take for our new sponsor.

its not missed, you just forgot to add the shitsu clause.

for example, the books were due in Febuary and they have so far posted 1set of 3 overdue accounts in the month of October. so they aint late, you are 7months (at least) early ;)

If TF is full of shit - why do you take a blind bit of notice of any of these stories? I know I certainly don't

Because clearly 1,500 or so still do believe Fisher, and publicising his lies on here may get some of them to see what the rest of us have seen from day 1?

I'd just like some details as to what it will entail. Even if we can't have an artists impression until we get a site, surely we know roughly what we'll be building? Will there be a shop? Training ground? Community facilities? What's the plan?

I dont think they believe him, they just want to watch the Sky Blues.

they can do that at away games and show timmy they do not believe him by boycotting "home" games. i feel those attending sixfields are helping keep him in his job. i'm not saying that shitsu would replace him with someone believable or compotent that will fast track the club back home, but it would be another finger upto the worst owners the club has ever had to endure.

I notice it because it's reported in the Telegraph, I would hope that there will be a follow up story to once again highlight that deadlines are being missed and the whole reason for the Sixfields move just isn't moving forwards on any visible level.

There is no plan of course, the plan is to get the Ricoh on the cheap and has been for about 2 years now !! Fisher is just the new Goebbels, sent out to spout the propaganda !

We will get our new ground it will be called Highfield road 2 but first they have to buy back all the flats they built on Thacknall Street.?

Takes a while to do all that, we can then play on the Green in the middle, centre spot is still there..........

Well just heard they spoke to Rugby Council "informally" and we're told to piss off. That's one site at least. Maybe the delay is getting anyone to actually agree to grant planning.

I'm losing track, which of the potential sites would Rugby Council cover, would it be Brandon?

Is there actually a viable site left (that's not greenbelt) far enough away from Coventry to not need CCC involvement on the infrastructure side of things that hasn't already been sold for some other purpose?
