SISU could move the club back to the Ricoh tomorrow if they wanted. It's sort of empty and available every Saturday ( and Tuesday and every other day!)
Not when two school kids have taken their ball away and gone home.

I have been thinking about this a lot recently especially with a lot going on in my life, but with regards to the question I could see myself going to Sixfields IF there were concrete plans to move back to Coventry in the next 5 years, it is in my belief that this club will, however as we stand there has been no documented plans or model ideas, land hasn't even been purchased yet and with regards to the Ricoh we are no closer to negotiating a sensible deal for the Ricoh.
If SISU show the fans convincing plans to move back to Coventry within a few years, I will consider it.

I agree, they have one season with most fans then that will start to impact on people attending games, standing on hills or just undecided about whether to carry on. If nothing comes out next season then alot will wash their hands with the club for good.
NOPM is working, its hitting SISU's finances, but it is killing CCFC.
Its quite clear from the replies received so far, that the majority will not set foot in Sixfields.
Even if SISU agreed to purchase the Ricoh or showed proof of land purchase and plans for a new stadium.
Clearly, the majority want to see the end of SISU. Do you not think that there is more chance of SISU going, if the Club and the ground are united as one ?. IMO as soon as this happens SISU will be gone. As things stand at present, SISU have zero chance of selling. I doubt, that despite what SISU may say about funding for the next 3/5yrs, that this is possible on gates of 2000. In fact, there is a real chance of no CCFC in the next 12 months. When the accounts were issued for Otium, the auditor questioned whether we would survive past 12 months.

Do the SISU out majority want our club to die? I don't.

Isn't this like saying "Oh, the bully will leave you alone as soon as he gets your lunch money"?
It may be true, but it kind of missed the point.
Even if sisu were to get the Ricoh, exactly how much do you think the club and stadium etc are worth as a package?
Seppalla says she wants a return on her investment,so someone has got to pay her at least 60 million(she claims they've invested) and that figure doesn't even include the price that sisu would have to pay for the arena.
Who in there right mind is going to pay north of 60 million for a league 1 club even if it comes with the stadium? ?
There's premier league clubs that you could pick up cheaper than that.
I agree however that is the reason why they SISU aren't going anywhere.
Inevitably there are to sides to every coin, so it's not a given that SISU would look to sell, however didn't Joy Seppala say they would sell at the right place?
If they see no way of doing anything but sustaining losses year on year they'll go. We just have to stand firm, there are no quick fixes.
Sorry have you quoted the right guy? Not sure what your point is in relation to giving Sisu the Ricoh.
I'm sure once she has what she wants she'll fuck off. Not sure how that's an argument to give her what she wants (see bully analogy).
The fact of the matter is she offered £5m for the Ricoh (which cost £113m to build without a viable business in it) AND wanted the £14m loan written off (so essentially she wanted paying £9m to take the Ricoh off their hands).
Are you saying we should do that deal if it means getting rid of Sisu?
I do, if it means getting rid of SISU quicker then it should be explored, remember getting rid of SISU means that it is likely the club can be reunited with the Ricoh.

Small point of order. The club have no means or intention of buying or building any stadium. Sisu/JS does. Don't think that by selling them the stadium it will unite it with the club.
This is where I get murky to be honest.
Is it worth the City I was born in losing out and someone I find morally reprehensible profiting so that my football club isn't harmed.
I was always taught you don't negotiate with terrorists and that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one. That's why I'm personally more comfortable waiting for them to give up or liquidate. But I can understand both sides.
Were you comfortable when the club had their back against the wall years ago seeing the city you were born in hammer the club you love with a huge rent deal knowing that they had no option but to take it?

Could you develop that 'no option' point please? I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion. There are always other options.

What other options did we have back when the rent was agreed?
no one was comfortable with it once we all worked out what a bad deal it was. But that is behind the club now, its no longer a threat. Shitsu on the other hand are. it serves no purpose to the future of the club to keep banging a drum that has no skin on it.

Buy Highfield Road back.
Go into admin still owning half the Ricoh project.
Explain to the council (and make it know to the public) that the rent would need to be set low.
Except the offer of a sliding scale rent.
When the Ricoh first opened no one knew how successful it would be and they had construction costs to pay off.
Who would you have had covering the shortfall?
My point was that sisu are terrorists for holding the club to ransom but the council and acl did the same back then but it's ok?
No its not OK, but it is done and dusted. Shitsu are still terrorising us. to keep shouting and screaming at ACL is akin to sending bombers to Dresden tonight. ITS DONE, ITS DUSTED. save your energy for fighting the current and real threat that is our own owners.
