So once the JR is kicked out for a second time, do you expect the Council to -

'explain to fans and city taxpayers what strategy it now has, if any, for returning the Sky Blues to the Ricoh Arena as soon as possible'

Yes. And more. To actively play a role in seeking resolution, and push ACL of a clear and concise explanation as to why the CVA was rejected. I have a theory - which I've posted on here - but I'd like to hear it from there horses'. If I disagree with any, or much of their behaviour, I'll state as such on here, clearly

Give me a few moments on the former. I dug it out a week or so for others on here. If anyone still has the link and can provide it; much appreciated. Until then, anyone who did click it, (and I think Rob was one) could at least verify what was stated.

As for the latter; yes, I agree - very embarrassing indeed. I don't know if her plan was to take a bottle of Lambrini and some Gloria Gaynor CDs; but it turned me face a shade of red. My guess would be that any such meeting would be on a 'without prejudice' basis, behind closed doors and therefore wouldn't impact the JR one iota. Whereas flapping your lips in public could

I hear Joy is more of a Babycham kinda gal.

Some of it was bullshit yes but some of it was an insight of the garbage we have been dragged through over the years. It's not enough that the questions were asked for some people though, it's either that the questions weren't good enough or that they got an easy ride, easy to continue pointing the finger though isn't it, especially when the target is invisible..

Joy could make herself very visible if she wished to-you can't use the fact that she avoids doing so at all costs as a defence for the poor ickle mite!

It looks like the petition is basically GMK pro-Sisu headbangers with Les Reid and Nikki Sinclaire backing it.

Who'd of thunk it!!!!!

not sure how they operate but it could well be the case that they only list on their events diary (assuming you mean one that is generally available for us to see) that are open to the public. private or trade invite only events may not be listed.

They list all the Jag Hall events as a general rule, because by their very nature they tend to be public (owing to the size of the venue), although I know most of December is taken up with the Xmas Parties - which I am told are quite good. I am sure some of the smaller corporate events don't necessarily get listed, so that's fair comment. I dogo there quite at bit for meetings at the Ricoh offices, and have been told many times that "this place is dead" with some talk of redundancies floating around. That's anecdotal I admit, but it doesn't bode well.

No, they didn't answer the questions. That's my opinion-not WUMing-to say that they did and I simply didn't like it is your (IMO bullshitty) opinion.

Yes they did answer the questions. I repeat, you just didn't like the answers.

Here's an example for you (I feel you are struggling a bit with the whole question/answer thing). So Les Reids asks (this is the question bit) "will you consider selling the club if an offer for (say) £15 million was made", JS responds "“The club is not for sale. I won't pack my bags and walk away, I want a return on my investment" (this is the answer btw). So just one example of a question answered. That interview was full of them. I repeat (again), you just didn't like the answers.

yep, arguably the daftest petition there's been in recent months. Don't expect many at the 'protest' other than a few sixfields die-hards and gullible SISU lemmings.

More division. "Pro-SISU" "Sixfield die hards" etc etc. You are part of the problem. How depressing.

Here you go FP; after just over one minute, Ann Lucas makes reference to 'the strongest possible legal advice' not to talk with regards the Ricoh:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZsG7LJ5iB4

This snippet is from a longer interview, if you listen, she gave the day before this one. I'll see if that's about too....

The JR needs to be either dropped, or concluded so that proper debate can begin. If this 'legal advice' is standing between some gems being unearthed, or merely a smokescreen meaning CCC/ACL don't have to stand up to scrutiny, I don't know.

However, to call upon CCC for openness right now, in light of the above just seems futile

Well I'll be there, just as I was stood on the hill on Sunday. Which category do I fit into out of interest?

A lot has changed since the last accounts filed by ACL. Calm down with the obsession ;)

No obsession just want all the facts. Yeah exactly my point regarding the accounts.

Cheers. I agree about the JR, it needs to be concluded regardless of the outcome. Although I don't think it's in SISU's interests for it to be concluded necessarily.

Much, if not most, of what is in the petition could not be opposed by even the most rabid anti-SISUite

However...

"We call on the council...to accept that it's costly legal attempts to oust SISU have failed..." - What costly legal attempts? SISU have pursued (unsuccessfully) a JR and SISU put (part of) the club into admin. Unless I am missing something the only litigation pursued by CCC / ACL has been the 100% claim for unpaid rent for which they obtained judgement at Birmingham Court

Legal and PR fees? CCC / ACL are being forced into expending legal fees by the above mentioned JR. And lets remind ourselves for the umpteenth time that one of the few independent observers of events thus far (the High Court judge) concluded that SISU are / have been pursuing a commercial / business policy of trying to distress CCC / ACL. As for PR I cannot believe that CCC / ACL are running up much of a bill - if they are then they ought to demand their money back as SISU seem always to hold the upper hand and control the agenda in the PR war

Sell to SISU as the best SISU exit strategy? For whom? SISU are a hedge fund and as such exist to sell off and make money from the best parts of any business. They have been loath to say (and it remains the one obvious omission from the LR / JS interview) whether, hypothetically, it will be the football club or ARVO / SISU / Otium that might own the stadium. If the latter then there is surely a grave risk that the Ricoh might be sold off to an organisation less fixed and stable than CCC / ACL and with less connection to the club thus exposing us financially even more

For these reasons although I agree with a number of the sentiments I for one will not be signing up

Oppositely Joy could remain invisible and employ people to run the day to day activities of the club which is what Fisher is around for!

It's completely fine to protest to the Council as taxpayers about use of Council time and money and whether it was wise to take on some hedge-fund cunts at their own game. But let's not pretend they are the ones who've destroyed the club.

The petition sucks

ACL has engaged a PR firm I believe, I think they win a lot of the subtle battles on a PR front if I'm honest.

Yes, and yes. The Ann Lucas interview seemingly was completed in the fist week of May, and the SISU JR papers served on the council some time between April 15th and 20th, as there's plenty in the news shortly afterwards in which CCC states: 'The council has been served with Judicial Review proceedings. Our position is that we have acted lawfully in all respects'.

So, the Lucas comment with regards 'the strongest possible legal advice' not to talk is clearly made within the context of recently served JR proceedings; and will leave them hamstrung for open debate until such time as it is cleared.

As stated, until this time, to call for clear engagement or comment from CCC isn't frankly sensible.

Now, a call on SISU to drop the proceedings to allow proper debate, scrutiny and CCC pressure to bring this to a head. Now, that I'd sign up to in a nanosecond :claping hands:

As I understand it the only way CCFC will be playing at the Ricoh is if SISU get the freehold on their terms. Seppela's made this very clear.

Those signing this petition are in essence asking CCCouncil to give in to SISU's desperate attempts to distress ACL and get ownership of the Ricoh on the cheap.

There's no way I could sign such a petition.

To me it reeks of desperation.

Think of SISU's mismanagement of our once proud club since they took over. Once Dann and Fox were sold the writing was on the wall - the original business model simply couldn't succeed. Think of the constant transfer embargos because accounts were never submitted on time, relegation to League 1, playing 'home' games 35 miles away, the bizarre appointments of Dulieu (Mr. Dugout) and Brody (Mr. 'Text-a-Sub').

Read the latest Private Eye article again http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/38068-Private-Eye, and ask yourselves if you could really justify wanting SISU to own the Ricoh?

Judging by the unwavering support they enjoy from some, that seems like a fair assumption. Some appear so gullible that they still believe they acted in the best interests of CCFC by forcing two separate 10 point deductions in a botched attempt at 'regime change'; an operation so laughably inept it makes GWB seem like a master-strategist.

I think the incompetence was finally laid-bare for all to see with their handling of the NTFC legal case which was an embarrassment quite frankly. Can't protest against them though, that'd make you a SISUist and that simply wouldn't do.

Yes we all remember the forums only too well
Where will we be groundsharing? Tim Fisher, 'the ground will be in the West Midlands.'
What gates do you expect? Tim Fisher, 'After doing our research of previous groundshares, we expect gates of 7,000:D if we are winning, and down to 3000 if the team is struggling.
When can we expect details about our new ground. Tim Fisher, 'We hope to be able to release some more details within the next few weeks.'
Is there any chance of returning to the Ricoh? Tim Fisher,' No we have moved on.'
Yes we didn't like the answers, events have shown most of us had very good reason not too.

People on here disappoint me. People I once thought were reasonable. It's the people taking a pro-ACL stance and letting them get away scot free that will ultimately kill our club. I just don't get it. Surely we want more answers from all parties involved:- ACL, Sisu, CCC & Higgs. They should all be held to account and asked to show there hand. Yes, the JR is a bit of a sham. Yes, Sisu are quite possibly the worst owners in the history of football. And undeniably they played dirty with the rent money. That did not give ACL the right to replace them with someone else, which is what ultimately lead to the club leaving the Ricoh.

The club need the stadium, that is undeniable. If the only way is via freehold then fine, let it be. Council do not have to sell for a price they are not happy with, they should at least discuss it. If CCFC fans do not want this then I suggest you start attending games at Northampton as that is the alternative. You can't have it both ways.

Open your eyes and understand the real situation for the good of the club.

The real situation is fundamentally simple. The Council have a price they can accept and and SISU have a price they will pay. Unfortunately for CCFC these two numbers are tens of £millions apart.

Maybe they both need to bend a little. Either way the silence from the ACL side is deafening and has been all season. I started out being firmly on the "all SISU's fault" side, however, the total lack of any attempts from the ACL side means one of two things to me.

1. They have something to hide.
2. They don't want CCFC there as they have decided another sports team or having the stadium free to rent out year round would be more profitable.
