The article starts 'Rumours abound' and then doesn't mention where the rumours are from. Slow news day?

Cov mad are usually reliable and with Brody being in Russia two weeks or so ago I would imagine they would have run t story then, so there may be some truth in it. Also I notice brody hasn't been on Twitter since news of t hoff bid broke. Whether this is good news though is another matter - look at pompeys Russian investors!

Cov Mad, reliable? It just copied whatever appears on Newsnow a few minutes late.

Actually.... cov newsnow is the last place stuff is posted as it filters from all the other sights automatically. Hence there is sometimes artivles about some ozzy teN also nicknamed sky blues.

Regards,

Mr smart arse :)

Cov mad, in my opinion is one of the best football websites for fans, my mate who's a birmingham fan says they only put match reports on there footy mad website, in all fairness it saves you having to look around the internet cause kev monks puts it on there, I think he does a great job to tell the truth, he doesn't get the storys he puts whatever he can find in newspapers and online, fair play to him and cov mad

Sorry but the guy breaks pretty much every ethical rule in both the journalists and bloggers handbook.

He reposts others content shamelessly without credit and with skewed, sensationalist headlines designed to drive hits. He splits one CT story into 5 or 6 to increase page views. He is massively biased in every post on the site, from reports to new stories, using it basically to push his personal agenda. He posts up extremely bias polls, then posts the results as another sensationalist story in pursuit of hits. He posts unfounded rumours that he just made up as news to increase hits.

Fair play for going to every game etc. etc. great City fan, but as a journalist/blogger he's a disgrace.

Couldn't agree more, Shmmeee, with every word. Nearly everything on there makes me cringe massively. I also have huge issues that the club might actually see some of that guff as the true view of normal, everyday Cov fans...which it definitely is not!!

Maybe Brody was over there brokering a deal to replace Coke with Vodka for next season. God knows we're gonna need it!!

shmmeee's knocked it out of the park there, all my issues with the site in one handy post.

Exactomundo! Cov Mad is just Cov Telegraph stuff repeated days later. I've seen some ridiculous stories on there.

One of the most far fetched was that the police uncovered a plot by City fans to physically remove Micky Adams from the dugout. What tosh!

He really hates poor Micky does Kev. Every article on him claims M.A bragged to City players about being a millionaire. Bollocks did he. He's a family friend and the most down to earth guy you could meet.

Absolutely nothing in this one

Snozzer is a good source of info, so if he says that there is nothing in this story, there is almost certainly nothing in this story.

Seeing as you're here Snozzer, and seem to be in the know. Is there anything positive to look forward to, on the Sky Blue front?

I'm usually Mr Optimistic, but just feel rather flat with regards to the City, please cheer me up!!!

I think the general feeling around is gloom and the people i talk to are losing interest very quickly. I cant see anyone investing in Sisu they have had 3 years and loses are getting bigger so investors no,, buy out is the only way. The only problem is Sisu want big money to walk and until they get it will run this club into the ground...

Don't really get all the Cov Mad hate on here, theres stuff thats worth a good readand for me it is the first port of call for City news rather than all the crap you fing on the CT website. I like reading the match reports aswell.

Nothing of much substance to report. If I was gambling, at this stage I think it's more likely that SISU will remain in control and their own hunt for investment continues. Sorry nothing very positive there but the position could change of course. That's just my feeling based on what I know so far. One point of minor interest, am told that the training ground is a far happier place than it's been in a long time ie. Since the moving on of some quite big personalities shall we say?
