Christ it never ends does it? I know it's nearly pantomime season but how many villains can people manufacture on here?

I take as a positive that ACL employees are rejoining this forum to frantically supporting this. Things clearly aren't so rosy in the garden after all.

Makes a wild statement then takes his own statement as evidence that ACL are struggling. Plonker :pointlaugh:

We need more people to stick up for the club and SISU.

Lets shout down these negative so called supporters.

I'm going just to check out how bad it might be oh and also for 'research' purposes. I have some drinks credits from the casino too so that covers me I think. See you in Coventry. The outsiders can have Sixfields.

I am going to stand in the car park and watch through the window while blowing a whistle ... Anyone that goes in is a scab... :)...

At the end of the day it was brought up by a young Coventry Supporter who wanted to watch it at the Ricoh.

Some of us did not agree and thought it a bad idea but fair play to him joined the group and sorted it out.

Shame others can't step up to the plate instead of shouting down everything that is organised.

The Trust meeting was open to everyone there were Hillers people who go into Sixfields and ones that stay away.

So it was attended by all sides.

WELL DONE,,,

After 52 years of supporting the sky blues I'm wondering whether it's worth carrying on . I don't recognise these sad, whinging people that constantly moan about a trust that's been set up to represent the majority of fans . Giving up their time to work for the good of the club on a long term basis. If you don't want to go to the Ricoh , don't go . From me I'd like to thank all the trust people for all the work they have done and are doing . As someone said " don't let the b@£!&?ds get you down.
Ok ,calmed down now . Disregard the first statement

Unfortunately people think that they are paid for their work they believe it is easy and and straight forward.
They do not like some of the ideas coming out so shout instead of doing something about it. No wonder we are in a mess can;t stop arguing
Well done to the Trust again for all your hard work.

If you want to go to the Ricoh to watch the footy on SKY then go- if this is construed as "supporting" ACL then so be it- a little hypocritical and wayward in analysis - maybe?- but no more so than those excercising their right to go to Sixfield in supporting 'the team' and not SISU. 'Balance' is encouraged on this forum I have established.

Can the certain posters who continue to bicker with someone else's opinion put as much effort in actually coming to away games, you won't be disappointed and might even enjoy yourselves..

So they won't be making a profit from the bar?

Anywhere you put this on will be making a profit from the bar, whether it's for charity or not.

Without wanting to put words in Nick's mouth, I think it's clear that what he's advocating here is a kind of NOPM aimed at ACL.

He's entitled to that point of view, I'd disagree with him, but it's what he's really unhappy about - the thought of people spending money there. Is that right, Nick?

I can't see why Nick has a problem with it, after all, he's said a number of times he hasn't a problem with those going to Sixfields...

I haven't got a problem if people want to go, they are entitled to do what they want and I hope they have a great time and raise lots of money.

It is the trust that are saying they are now balanced which it looks like they were to then use the Ricoh for an event and promote that it is there that I was pointing out which may come across as if they are still heavily sided towards ACL rather than the balance they wanted.

I have took the time to read through all the posts on this thread - and I sincerely hope that fans of other clubs haven't!

I shall either be watching at my mates house (if he ever gets around to inviting me), or at the local pub (although it is in Northampton, so I may have to reconsider).

I all seriousness, the thought that fans of all ages getting together who can't get to games, don't like going to regular type pubs, have chosen not to go Northampton, and will make a small contribution to charity cannot be a bad thing. If anyone has a problem with that, then they should have a good look at themselves. I personally have moe important things to worry about

no thanks, NOPM to the evil deystorying our club.[/QUOT
why do people constantly have a go at the trust, please explain why ?, and no i'm not a member , just interested why they get so much flak.

I can't work that one out either . At a guess ,they don't agree with protesting against what is going on at present ,or , they do agree with protesting but not in the way the trust are doing it . Confusing .

Just a guess, but I think covcity4life means ACL.
