As much as I dislike much of what Grendel posts, I must agree that FFP is worthless. The football league have proved they have no power. What is going to have changed? They have agreed to allow us in to this situation they can't then punish us for it as well.

FFP will not work. I will be the first to admit I am wrong if it does. However it won't.

Whilst I don't rate their chances in the Judicial Review Application hearing tomorrow, I'd bet that SISU would find a way round the FPP.

Can't see it dear chap. My money was on a left-hand-right-hand shuffle of cash within SISU group companies with regards shirt sponsorship overly-inflating turnover by a record deal only being returned to group in 'management charges', but that hasn't happened.

This is a hot UEFA potato, instigated and coordinated by Platini himself; and the FA will have to be seen to be applying rigidly, as the FA isn't exactly popular with it's European 'friends'. So, I can see the FA coming down hard on clubs such as ours, to look tough whilst ignoring the dalliances of the big cheeses

We were in transfer embargo. Now we are in 'rolling embargo'. Surely that's already prevented or curtailed our activity? Even Fisher has admitted it has.

Why won't FFP be equally, or even more rigidly, enforced?

Are you the Samaritans ?

Ha ha...

No, the Samaritans are a great organisation who generally deal with people who have REAL problems & REAL issues in the REAL world....

.....not a load of drama queens on an internet forum who spend all day, every day, girly bitching & moaning about a 3rd division football team & their big bad owners.....

boo hoo hoo....

Unfortunately, I think you're right there. Although it may get to the point where you've got 72 clubs all under a transfer embargo!

never met you Andreas but you sound about 14.

This poster is a strange one. Sounded quite reasoned at first. Normally wrong, but wrong-with-justification if you understand what I mean. Lost a few debates, then turned into a parody. Now just foolish and rude.

Kind of followed the Grenduffy mould; but a more concentrated iteration

I note the complete up your arse arrogance of you to pigeonhole people you don't agree with - apparently I am "normally wrong" - well I would be in the opinion of the vast majority of bleating sheep on this board. You all get SO cross.

Is that irony? I see the angst in your opening that you scoff as you sign off. Maybe you're just not cut out for this type of thing?

That'll be your boyfriend tim then.

There we go, right on cue.Took about 5 minutes before the first knuckle dragger appeared with the usual meaningless Fisher insult. Still, at least it was not quite as bad as the rape/homophobic ones of the other day.

You appear to be on a one woman mission to wind every one up on this forum.

You give it out then cry when you get it back.

I seriously think you have issues.

Your right that the Football League has no real legal power. However if we end up in a situation where we beat other clubs to staying up/making play offs do you really think the chairmen of other clubs are just going to sit back and take it?

No they will be threatening the league with legal action left, right and centre. The league can try and ignore the problem if they want, but other chairmen wont, and shouldn't.

They cannot take legal action if the League rules are worded properly. No club would ever take the League to court forget it.

So what was the point in destroying the clubs Championship status for a rule that won't be enforced?
