Is Northampton the only game off today with this weather?
The only game I know of that has two clubs playing on the same pitch. But I suppose it makes no difference does it Nick? :thinking about:
Are there any games off where just one team play on it or is it just the one where two teams play?

As I said Nick I suppose having a pitch played on twice the amount as normal doesn't make any difference does it?
could end up a right mess if both teams get a couple of home games called off. It has crossed my mind before what happens if their new manager doesn't play hoofball and decides he doesn't want another team playing there. Would assume Cardoza has a get out clause at the end of each season so he could face the choice of kicking us out or upsetting the new manager and, if the manager lets it be known what's happened, probably the fans as well. All hypothetical at the moment of course but would that leave SISU with any other option than to go back to ACL?
exactly, try playing a passing game with the ball on the floor when the floor resembles a ploughed field. the risk off injury must go up considerably too, that shouldn't worry us either i guess given the strength and depth of our giant squad (i would put a man winking icon here, but this is 2 issues that i am genuinely worried about)
I think both sides have a 12 month notice period. All SISUE would have to do would be to pay on rent owed. Not sure how Northampton could get out of it though.
But as Nick says it don't make any difference.
Of course it will make a difference, but the weather is that bad that other games are off too. If it was only sixfields off today then the two teams playing could well be a factor.

Where did I say it doesn't make a difference? Making stuff up again? I said if course it makes a difference, read what is written and not what you want to read.
Did you go to the ricoh towards the end of last season?
I wasnt making anything out, you were reading what you wanted to rather than what was actually written. It is a great skill some people have
You asked me a question, I answered it.
explain what that has to do with the risk to the CURRENT playing style and the risk to the CURRENT squad?
Of course it will make a difference, but the weather is that bad that other games are off too. If it was only sixfields off today then the two teams playing could well be a factor.

But because there are a couple of other games off in the country it means it can't be a factor?

Explain to me what the state of the pitch or facilities at the ricoh has to do with the current playing style or squad?
My point was that pressley was moaning about the pitch condition last season at the ricoh.
jack all, so why mention the Ricoh at all?
my concern is with the very real consequences that playing on a ploughed field could have to the team. is it a ploughed field yet, i wouldn't know as i will never set foot in the place but it don't take a genius to work out that 2 teams playing on the same pitch every week sometimes more than once each, with little time for repair and recovery with constant wet weather is going to get cut up pretty badly and quickly.
but you can raise a different agenda from that, then i think you need to start questioning yourself and not me.

Ecky mentioned the ricoh? I think you need to start reading threads properly before questioning maybe?
My point regarding the ricoh was that even that was really cut up last season too with just the one team.
Of course it can be, it could just mean that the weather is generally really bad.
Ecky mentioned the ricoh which is why I mentioning that even that got cut up? I think you need to start reading threads properly before questioning maybe?

Of course two teams playing on a pitch will mean it gets hammered, just have hope Northampton have good groundsmen. I wonder if by renting there that there are any terms of playing surface conditions..

But you was on about towards the end of the season before the Ricoh started getting bad. We are only half way through the season now and have the bad weather to come yet.
I agree, you would like to think that with people renting the budget for ground staff would double.
