Thats not what the meeting is about. Im sure it will come up. I will listen to their answer and make my mind up accordingly.I will post my considered opinion here after the meeting. You have already done so. Not much point in you wanting to know their response is there?

Would you mind asking for the comparative figures profit wise of a long tee cheaper rent deal with 80% F&B

Verses

Borrowing money to build a brand new 12k stadium.

They have to have a business plan with such figures.

They have never answered that question.

The figures will not add up.

So why did you not wait until you got
Response from Nuneaton and Bedworth "ut this is expected shortly!" the two councils I would expect to have benn contacted they have not respnded yet! Anyway Knowing SISU the way we do they would have had a NDA(none disclosure agreement)in place

even if N & B council come back and say yes, thats still only 1 local council. they have been quite clear in saying they are in contact with 2. Can you have an NDA when it comes to discussions with public bodies unless its a matter of national security?

Oooh, I look forward with much excitement to see your opinion on the matter, it always proves to be so considered and on the money.

Is it me or has anyone else got a bad feeling about Nuneaton&Bedworth council?

Not really, we already know Fisher and Labovich are lying so even if it does turn out they've spoken to N&B that's a long way from a new stadium being built. They've got to find a suitable site, buy it, get plans drawn up, get planning permission, get funding, put it out to tender and select a contractor before they even think about breaking ground. They've got 2.5 years (4.5 max) and the football league have said they will be required to show evidence that the project is progressing at least once a season.

I still think they're waiting it out hoping to get ACL / Ricoh for next to nothing, at what point they give up and walk away is the big question along with what they do with the club when they do decide to walk away.

Joy wants her money back, she's stated that in the CT interview. There's no way in the world they can build a new stadium and make their money back.

Not really. Tried to get planning permission several times on some of my land and it's a stone wall, "it's greenbelt so not in my lifetime".

They have some major items going through, after a fight, in respect of Kerseley, Blackhorse Road, Rectory Fields to name a few and I'm not familiar with all the developments in Nuneaton.

If it's near there it'll be a "retail" development of charity shops, pawn brokers and cash converter clones.

I take it that the football league will want to see some kind of progress on this new stadium farce before the end of this season?

We're halfway through the season and all we've been shown is a couple of images of lego land. Surely the football league won't be satisfied if that's all they can up with in 12 months?

Does anyone really believe plans are developed for a new stadium? Probably not. Is anyone going tomorrow really gullable enough to believe that sites are spade ready and any more than a smokescreen at the moment? I doubt it.

However, the real issue is that building a new stadium might be the ONLY thing the club can do given a sale of the Ricoh seems unlikely as is negotiating a rent deal.

Im going tomorrow to feedback on improving the fan experieince at Sixfields, New stadium or even the Ricoh - basically wherever we end up.

Calling ST holders, SISU apologists, propagandists etc is usual form for most of the idiots on here though. You can all go along to the open meeting and rant and rave like bleating sheep and see how far that gets you.

probably as far as you will get tomorrow by being nice, your opinion don't matter to them. wake up and smell the coffee. if you really do love this club now is the time to start feeling angry.

If it's not happening why would the high profile Chair Person of the Coventry Chamber of Commerce Chair the CCFC Stadium Forum??????????

Because she's not very bright and doesn't really understand football or football supporters?

At the point of applying for PP, who knows. It was a mostly tongue in cheek comment.

I know mate, but if that is the only local council left then just imagine if ACL are sounded out other ventures for the pitch itself, they will keep their cards close to their chest until the last minute or if Sisu put in planning permission nearby, hence blocking it off. Also after this came out, I spoke to someone I know in Warwickshire County Council who used to work for the north region (based in Bedworth) and he reckons they are pissing in the wind if they think they will get planning permission in that neck of the woods.

Does that Guardian journalist know about this development (pun not intended)?

The worrying part of that quote was "Im going tomorrow to feedback on improving the fan experieince at Sixfields" REALLY??? Who gives a shit about the fan experience at Sixfields apart from RFC. Use the forum as a means to asking the right questions about the future of our football club not about asking for padded seats or different filled pies ffs

Simon Gilbert@TheSimonGilbert2mThat exclusive Sky Blues stadium story - pinpointing a specific location - will be on the @CovTelegraph website at 8pm. #PUSB

If it's Gipsy Lane I will be annoyed.

Yeah we already mentioned Brentford, I'll probably do that (it's in March isn't it?). Not sure about Notts County but going Arsenal anyway.

Yes mate, Brentford is towards the end of March so might be a big game. We're not going to Arsenal now, a certain tall bald bloke who lives near Coombe (the West wing I think with deer in his garden) put a real downer on us all and left me and Longboy and a few others depressed with his joyous outlook.

Anyone surprised that all these councils are saying no talks?
No doubt the Sixfields faithful will still be living the dream. But they are entitled to their opinion. It does annoy me though that SISU are abusing some fans loyalty to the club.

He's a card isn't he.....I am definitely up for that Brentford day out though.

I hope its something that's actually newsworthy and not some SISU BS that's been rushed out after they've seen the trusts statement today. Although if there is just one site to be pinpointed why don't SISU just say where it is?
