Car crash. I actually think there was about 10 seconds silence when asked about the fixed assets. I was about to retune the radio until his smug tones started up again.

He said he's a director but he doesn't work for the owners? I thought that was who directors did work for, they represent the shareholders aka the owners at the company or club in our case. Very odd.

Are you trying to drive one of the most helpful posters on this site away with your Trolling so you can try and brainwash the rest of us with YOUR words of "wisdom"

Maybe he is scared that some wisdom might be passed onto him :D

What a quibbering, stuttering idiot!

"Many many fans have met with Joy."

If this guy is a director of CCFC and making decisions we are fucked!

We know SISU have been a total disaster running the club, we know Fisher comes across as a smug buffoon and appears to have been pushed aside - probably for that reason. What I don't understand is no matter how incompetent they are at running the club surely it can't be that difficult to find someone who doesn't collapse under the intense pressure of a Sky Blues Interactive grilling. Even if every word is complete bollocks surely they can find someone to lie to us that at least sounds vaguely competent and like they have a clue what is going on. There was not a single question that couldn't have been easily predicted yet he struggled to answer any of them!

The part where he was talking about the new ground would be in or around Coventry, it was very very obvious to me he hasn't got a clue where the ground is. Now if Labovich (who claimed we were talking with two councils) has no idea where it's going to be how can anyone have the slightest bit of confidence there has been any steps at all taken towards purchasing land.

I watched the opening ceremony for the Paralympics while this was going on. Sounds like my choice had less shallow flouncing about.

At least you find it amusing and you're not frothing at the mouth like some on here.

Only CCC haters will be frothing at the mouth.

And like I said earlier I hope he is involved in the JR hearing. I would pay to watch it. No trying to spin out of them questions.

I think he's the sacrificial lamb offered up by SISU/OTIUM in advance of, based on his PR performances it might be a shrewd move... he's so inept he might even draw sympathy?

Seriously though what does he do for the club other than be the media spokesman, which is a function Tim could do (and was funnier too). Could we not save ourselves a quid or two (like we obviously need to) and get rid of him as I don't understand his role in all this.

Well I submitted my question about the finances and the breakdown of them, in terms of getting a return for investors.

It was asked

There was a long pause then a lot of stuttering. Then I thought he hung up.

Now I am totally convinced the long term plan definitely is to build a new stadium!

That was beyond outrageous.

The one thing he did say is we need a fans forum to discuss the finances I completely agree

:)

New stadium will cost £20m (Labovitch answers very likely).

Labovitch doesn't think the debt is completely right

He personally thinks Pressley can take the club all the way with the right revenue

Biggest threat to promotion has been ACL with the 10 point penalty...was 100% ACL's fault for the 10 point deduction. No reason to reject CVA. 10 point deduction was to try to distress the club.

Club will have to go through short term pain for long term gain.

Don't think the debt is dangerous because the owner keeps funding the club year in year out.

Court cases will show the council and ACL tried to make Joy and SISU sell the club. She is committed to the long term future of the club. Fans who have met Joy will tell you she is here for the long haul.

Coventry is a big club. All of us want to take the club back to where they belong.

Club working hard with multiple sites for the new stadium...not yet narrowed down to one.

Clubs accounts are presented in a simple way...can address all the questions in a fans forum

Otium owe ACL £750,000 (may have heard it wrong) but will not be paid until the process is over

Club have a very sound financial plan :)D)

PH4 never proved funds. Chinese investors never have revealed identities or funds.

Coventry City Council doesn't want the club to build a new stadium. Tried to sue Walsall over ground sharing and Northampton

That's a blatant lie for a start.

It was ACL that tried to do that. A completely separate private company. (Or do sisu only consider ACL and CCC separate organisations during Judicial Reviews?).

Okay so basically on the back of that interview if we don't get planning permission for the new stadium we're screwed. If he can't answer that (and you'd like to think they've considered that possibility*) then you do have to wonder what the hell we're going to do if we don't get it. This planning permission may take many years, as was the case with Brighton or possibly a hint that we're ground sharing with Brighton next?

*and please don't tell me that the disaster plan is to stay at Sixfields because that would be a disaster.

Clive Eakin did well to be fair

Nothing against Eakin, but he's hardly Paxman or Dimbleby.

Considering Labovitch used to work in Tony Blair's spin department its a bit embarrassing for him to be mauled by Clive Eakin.

Clive Eakin did well to be fair

He obviously wanted to raise a fair few points and therefore wasn't able to keep pressing for an answer when he didn't get one, but from what I heard* he didn't do too badly.

*and I came in about two thirds of the way through I think

I second that. Eakin gets a very bad press on here BUT he did press this pratt quite hard.

Thanks for the summary I'll have to "listen again" at some point tonight to hear the whole thing.

So ...no one has answered the question from a poster earlier... who has met Joy??? .... seriously I would like to know or am I forced to go to GMK to get my answer ... god forbid!!! :)

He kept attacking ACL and the council saying they have a vendetta against the club

He said they try to do everything they could do to make Joy sell the club. However she refused and is in it for the long term.

When asked how in the long term investors would get a return in their money 45 million to SISU + 20 million for stadium.

He became completely flummoxed pausing and stuttering.

He basically said by owning their own stadium and promotion.

When asked how promotion can be achieved when we can only spend 60% of FFP and 7 million loses is before playing in front of 2000 fans. A relegation battle was more likely than promotion. He was stumped again.

When asked how the owner intends to get a return in the investment once the stadium is built will it be by selling up. He said he does not work for the owners so he can't say.

When asked about the drop in fixed assets he had no answer and talked about having a meeting with fans.

When asked about planning permission he said he doesn't like saying no comment but people selling the land are scared about what Coventry City Council may do to them. He said like what they did to Walsall over the ground share.

He blamed the increase in loses by SISU year after year in Onye and Ken.

He attacked ACL's accounts for been laid out in a too complicated manner.

All of this from the point he was challenged about how we can recoup 60-70 million was answered with pauses stutters and poor attempts to change the answer from the question actually asked.

I think Clive began feeling sorry for him and did not go for the jugular he just moved on, per question.

He said the 45 million is not a worry as Joy put it in and she is not demanding it back at the moment.

When asked what happens if she changes her mind he had no answer.
