With safety guaranteed we can breathe a sigh of relief and congratulate Steven Pressley and the team who against the odds have avoided relegation and along the way provided some real highlights this season – Moussa’s spectacular late, late equaliser at Preston being a personal favourite.
With safety guaranteed it’s also time for kcic to speak out, having listened very carefully to what the majority of fans are saying.

sisu Are Not Good For Our Club - well someone's got to say it!
- sisu’s priority is its own profits, not the team and fans
- CCFC is a worthless asset, saddled with millions of pounds of debt owed to the sisu family of companies
- No one has a right to a return on their investment - the value of investments can go down as well as up
A Positive Future
- Amidst the doom and gloom we have to be clear what we want: success on the pitch, financial stability off it and the interests of the team and fans to come first
- sisu can never deliver that positive vision because their priority is their own profit
- We would be better off owning the Ricoh but sisu cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of the team and fans
- There is no guarantee that another rich owner would be any better than sisu or all the others we have had for the best part of 20 years
- The only people who can be trusted to put the interests of the team and fans first are CCFC supporters
sisu Need To
- Move on to investments where they might make some money
- Write off CCFC as a bad investment and unsaleable
- Hand CCFC over to the fans and write off debts owed to the sisu family of companies (and remember to do proper due diligence in future!) – fans setting up a Community Interest Company is dead easy
We Can Then
- Work with co-investors who share our vision of success on the pitch, financial stability off it and the team and fans as the priorities
- Return us immediately to the Ricoh on the basis of the last offer made by acl (and God help them if they tried to stand in the way of a fan-led ownership team)
- Take as long as is needed to hammer out a long-term deal on the Ricoh that serves the interests of our Club and doesn’t rip off council tax payers
So let’s...
- Fight for our Club
- Fight for a better future
- Fight to be pro team and pro fan, not be pro sisu/acl
And make our voice heard loud and clear in saying:
Suck It Up Sisu. You made a bad investment, you have no right to a return on it – give us back our Club and move on!

PS - in response to recent questions about kcic’s position:
kcic has spent a lot of time listening to fans and we are confident that
- Saying acl have questions to answer but sisu are primarily responsible for moving us to NTFC is the mainstream, majority view
- Saying we would be better off owning the Ricoh but sisu cannot be trusted, is the mainstream, majority view
- Saying sisu are not good for our club, is the mainstream, majority view
- The people at the extremes are those who are only interested in being pro acl/sisu (is anyone really going to try to argue that kcic's petition calling to account all parties and selling t-shirts which say 'Keep Cov in Cov' is militant and extremist?)
Also,
- Some people don’t agree with the kcic approach but the onus is on them to explain why they believe sisu are good for our Club or why they are pro acl and what is their suggestion for a better, realistic, feasible way of building a positive future that puts the team and fans first
- People claiming to be in talks with all parties when they’re not, and saying there’s a deal to be done when the parties are involved in legal battles not negotiations, is just sitting on the fence watching our club slowly die and fanbase drift away
- Repeating the same points endlessly, arguing over and over about who’s to blame and pursuing a hundred and one red herrings has got us absolutely nowhere and it’s time to stop
- The Spurs fan standing as a candidate in the local elections is nothing to do with kcic - it is at best an unhelpful distraction
- Portsmouth is now run with a fan-led ownership model so the kcic approach is feasible
- The kcic approach can’t be dismissed by people who say sisu will do what they want – campaigning is all about persuading people to change their mind and we’ve got to make clear to sisu what the reality is and they have no right to a return on their bad investment. Giving us our Club back might even repair some of sisu’s reputational loss!
