Yeah...but...urm...ah...because...er...

So why dont people boycott away games then, surely this would have the same impact if No-one supported the club home or away until something happened?

Ah the old they are all apathetic argument....not boycotting. Nothing heroic about it. People disagree with it and aren't supporting it, get used to it.

Because they are showing support for the team is still there. The contrast is relevant.

"Boycott" = Do not support our owners in any way shape or form---Or people who feel the need to resort to foul and abusive language.

So those 7,000 people who crossed joys palm with silver for a lovely night out in London are not boycotters then?

Well for me it's a total boycott....well unless they get someone good in a cup run and then I can moan about trying to get tickets or if they get a chance at wembley and I need ticket stubs.... But if they are crap then I'm boycotting

This film is based on all of you, such a repetitive forum.

They've remade that with Tom Cruise, but it's got a load of explosions and aliens. Like a completely different (worse) film, it is.

One thing that was frustrating for me and those who go to Sixfields...

How come, 1500 (and sometimes a-lot more) can make the trip every couple of weeks to Northampton claiming they want to 'just watch football' and they are 'the real fans'...

How come then we only took 500 to Oldham and Hartlepool and followings a lot smaller than the 1500 to Bradford and Preston? I know for a fact a big percentage of them DO NOT go to Sixfields.
You could suggest that only 200 of the Sixfielders went to Oldham? Disappointing really.

Oddly they are further away.

If 200 went to Oldham that's 40% of the total so probably most went to notts county, Walsall and Mk dons.

Also lets be honest you don't know for a fact a big percentage don't go. You made that up.

You what??? You cant be bothered to go 30 miles to Northampton for 9 quid a ticket but moan about people who go week in week out not going to Oldham. have you heard yourself?

Maybe cause it's not the distance you nonse. It's the principle. The football club should be playing in Coventry

They should but they are not, its not great but its better to be inside the tent pissing out. Oh and its spelt Nonce. If you want to personally insult me at least spell it right.

I travel the 30 miles every week to stand on the hill.

As someone who has been at every away game for the past few years I have a good idea who goes to Sixfields and who doesn't.

One hand clapping for you. It's like the Sex Pistols at the Free Trade HAll. There should be hundreds on the hill with the amount on here who claim to stand there

There's a core of 25, it's never been lower. It's also been a-lot higher.

Your questioning people's effort when you can't even be bothered to complain about being there while you're there with any sort of protest despite bigging yourself up that you were going to do it and to watch this space.

Second time today you've come across as a hypocrite.

Season Ticket Rumours

According to various rumours going round, the vast majority season tickets sold by Coventry City are concessionary ones.

The rumours say that the break down of ticket sales is as follows -

395 season tickets sold:

12 corporate tickets
84 full paying adults
64 OAPs
76 Disabled tickets along with 72 free carer tickets
8 Under 16s
25 Under 12s
54 Under 7s - Free

When City were at the Ricoh Arena, concessionary season tickets were around 65% of those sold.

IMO it would be much more newsworthy if we had zero home fans but sold out away matches as it would show the fans were refusing to acknowledge Northampton as being our home ground but still supporting the club everywhere else.

I don't disagree mate but I don't think 400 people is going to make a difference. It wont get to the stage where there is no-one in there at all due to locals, corporates etc.

crazy !

So four disabled people couldn't even give a season ticket away.

And there are more kids than full paying adults.

because some of us have to watch our expenses we have to pick the away games we want to go to because we can't go to them all, like people would rather get tickets for mk where they know there will be a good atmosphere, rather than oldham away !!! !

76 disabled tickets. something fishy about that, they realise right that thinking its a good idea to go to sixfields doesn't mean they are disabled?
