City supporter Anthony Hornsby has sent a strongly worded email to the betting company and has told the Telegraph choosing the Sky Blues to mock was 'naive' given the club's current situation.
He said: “I thought the advert was very derogatory towards the club amid the ownership issues especially as most fans feel that the games at Northampton are away games anyway.
"Of all the clubs to chose they had to pick Coventry, I usually condone humorous adverts like this but given the circumstances why kick us when we are down?”
Some people need to lighten up really don't they?
Why would he need to end a "strongly worded email" to them with SISU out?
Quite clearly just looking for attention.
Blimey!! He'll be writing a strongly worded email to Monty Python next.
excuse my ignorance but i havent seen/heard the ad yet, is it on tv or radio?
The real offensive side is how they paint their customer base as some kind of Oceans Eleven crew of debonair gambling LADS rather than on the laptop betting, scratching themselves and then smelling their hands to see if they really need to have a shower today.

Yes. They are indeed the first marketing team to ever inflate the egos of their target market.
Next you'll be telling me that Ferrero Rocher aren't the height of international diplomatic hospitality.
I see what you mean.
I suppose it's the same as when they do Vodka/Whiskey adverts, and make it look great, but reality is, they are hard drinks so to speak. Same with gambling, leads to homes being lost etc.
