The offer made by kcic to sisu last week paves the way for the Sky Blues to kick off the new season back at the Ricoh, where Coventry City FC belongs. All that is required is for sisu to say ‘yes’.

kcic was delighted by yesterday’s news in the Coventry Telegraph that sisu wish to discuss the offer and informed sisu of dates this week and next when it is available to meet.

There has been far too much muddle and 'spin' in the CCFC saga so given the critical importance of the situation and the need for absolute clarity, kcic asked sisu to kindly reply by email (as was also mentioned in the offer letter).

An email confirming date, venue and time when sisu will meet kcic is awaited.

The Sky Blues CAN start the new season back at the Ricoh. All that is needed is one simple email from sisu and we desperately hope today will be the day that email is received.

Instead, ML responds on behalf of SISU by announcing in the press that he will phone you sometime. Typical!

Please everyone have their fingers crossed as no-one likes sisu but getting Coventry city back home it the number 1 priority regardless of owners.

KIUM - Keep it up Michael

Has the council agreed to this? Are the Ricoh Arena aware of this plan also

This is the key point that I don't believe Michael has answered, apologies if he has. Have ACL agreed this and more importantly why will they offer a temporary deal to a third party, whilst only overing the club a 41 year deal discounted for 3 years? If ACL offer the same terms as were offered to the club who is liable for the £1.3m pa rent + £400 k match day costs after 3 years? And why does this put the club in any better position?

Has Labovich not tried ringing you numerous times??

Is Labovich allergic to email or was he just pulling everyones chain and just going to give this offer some lip service while not really being interested.

If ML is really interested he'll send an email with some dates to meet.

Michael, stick to your guns. If ML is only here for the club and isn't a sisu employee as he constantly says it's in his interest to send an email. Unless as I've already suggested he's pulling our collective chain.

Does it really matter whether a meeting is arranged via phone or email or even twitter as long as it's arranged.

It just looks really unprofessional to me, refusing to answer phone calls and why stipulate a response HAS to be via email when it's just as easy to have a few minutes on the phone and it's all sorted

An email to start with is probably the way forward. A response and the email itself is evidence that can be used. A phone call can be wriggled out of as he said she said.
Keep it up Michael.

Who cares what the who hell it is. Coventry bak in Coventry. If this doesn't happen because of communication links then we are all doomed.

Are they out of the school of byngs email provider? Probably Bing he used.

I think any talks about a return deserves more than a chat over the phone,, so ML who has been the latest mouthpiece for sisu needs to answer with a return mail...As for who phoned who that is not important, and if used is just an excuse to delay or to make out the offer is not worthy, so not to be put in a situation that harms the owners position.... If talks are going to happen, then at least show respect of a decent reply starts in the correct manner..

Maybe they just want a chat before meeting for some basic details to see whether it is worth bothering?

What happened to your newsletters about pick up the phone?

Just have a quick chat with them pre meeting? Have they said they refuse to meet? Maybe ccfc don't want the whole bcc to the cet issue again?

Just make sure nothing that can be spun is said?

Unfortunately our ML has a habit of saying things that either don't happen or don't happen when he says they will happen and has also been known to use "I've been misquoted line".

If he's serious then communication by email gives him as much insurance as anyone.

If he's not serious then the phone is ideal as he can spin that in any direction he wants.

This is hilarious. One of KCIC's strap lines is 'sisu pick up the phone'. Trouble is when you pick up the phone you need someone to answer at the other end. This is absolutely pathetic. How can anyone expect to agree on a deal when no one can agree on whether to use email or phone. Ridiculous. As Tony says, our chain is being pulled, not exclusively by SISU though.

My opinion, as i don't know Micheal or anyone from KCIC..

ML knows that kcic want to have constructive talks not a phone call that can be denied or spun,, he also knows if Micheal picks up and declines to talk over the phone due to multiple people being involved ML can then state THEY REFUSE TO TALK... This is a very serious part of the clubs history and needs a bit more respect than its being shown...

Confirm a meeting or decline by mail,,, its easy honest and makes all included understand where each party stands... Open and honest the fans deserve, they don't deserve this spin or game being played out,, ML or Sisu reply to the email,,, easy...

What about an email with questions Michael? Will anything be in the cet from either side today?

Surely theres no point in just ignoring when your phone rings from them?

I felt very fed up by the end of yesterday but it's a new day, the sun is shining so let's hope there is some good news to come. The Jan-ML episode shows perfectly why a phone call is absolutely not the way to progress this. No 'spin', no media 'tit for tat' just one email from sisu is all that's needed - it really is that simple. Everything else is just noises off

Couldn't the fact that you are making statements and stuff also be seen as tit for tat?

From the other side, maybe they are worried about the bcc thing happening again??

Not that I expect a reply or anything.

Just to add, there are more people involved or need to be involved in this and a conference call is not always possible. If ML replies by email he can copy in TF, JS and anyone else from the sisu/arvo empire who will have a say in this. Michael can then reply and copy all of the sisu people in while also copying in his backers. Everyone is in the loop from day one.

If you are taking this seriously why would you do it any other way?

Didn't Jan blind copy the telegraph in a private email?

I think the quote you're looking for is: "Mr Mokrzycki accused Mr Labovitch of trying to cause tension among fans and insisted Mr Labovitch had taken his comments out of context. Mr Mokrzycki said: “This is some sort of sad retaliation for us daring to suggest the idea of a forum to answer questions about the club’s finances. I think it was underhand of him to send it to so many people. It was a private conversation [emphasis added] and much of what he said was taken out of context or, frankly, not true."

But let's not get distracted by noises off - come on sisu, just send an email 'yes' and we can all start looking forward to CCFC v CCFC at the Ricoh!

So did an email get bccd to the cet?

Look, just answer the fucking phone, then send him an email stating exactly what the offer is,with all bells and whistles attached.

Stop making statements to the press or anybody else, and get on the phone.

They have lost millions of pounds and still are , and you come out with a statement like that ,just shows you will argue anything without reason other than you need to argue for argue sake

Exactly, it's quite clear you have just as much of a game plan than sisu in this, the way to blow then out of the water is to let the offer do the talking

What matters is not what someone did in the past, learn from mistakes, both your own and those of other people.. the important thing here is to get evidence in print or it can be spun this way & that.

ML is a spin doctor.. do n not forget that..

Think the spinning is coming from a different direction on this occasion.

Think the spinning is coming from a different direction on this occasion.

I don't think so. I see it as a campaign to get Coventry back home and it's a genuine offer. Whether it's any good is another matter as I don't know but I see it's authenticity.

Why sisu couldn't do a deal with ACL themselves is still beyond me. Why the need for a third party? Seems all a bit silly to me.

Why not speak initially though?

Email not foolproof either, could be, "Oh, I didn't receive that, must have gone in my junk-mail folder" or something.

Quick phone call, confirm any meeting arranged or whatever by email, Bobs your uncle.

Really don't see what the problem is if really serious about it.

JUST RECORD THE FUCKING CALL!!!!!

No spin. No misquoting. And no misreading of an email. Plus clarification can be sought.

If ML starts bullshitting, you put the call on YouTube and are vindicated.

Isn't that a little odd? So the KCIC only heard SISU' agreement to get in touch from the telegraph? Weird.

Oh don't get me wrong I agree. I can't see the fuss or difference between an email or a phone call.

I think it's a genuine offer but like I say whether it's any good is another matter. Sounds good but if I were sisu I would rather deal with ACL myself and rent year by year initially to gain trust and look for a permanate solution from there.

The new stadium is just never going to happen so year by year rent is the only option now. It doesn't really help ACL either as the market value won't suddenly shoot up via a mega low 1 year rent deal so ACL will still be destressed.

Only other option is 3 years in Northampton but what then that's if the club survives that long which I don't think it would.

I think it's understandable that SISU won't arrange a meeting until full details of the offer have been disclosed... but equally expecting full details of the offer to be disclose in a phone call are unrealistic..

still a long way to go but the "Just say yes SISU" is getting on my tits TBH both sides can shove the spin up their.....
