I only care about the club and couldn't give a fuck about ACL - you?

Grendel, if the sticking point was Joy wanting to eat someone's first born, would you be slagging off anyone with kids who doesn't want them eaten?

If Sisu make unreasonable demands it's down to them were not at home. In fact as they are the owners, it's all down to them anyway.

Get us home now. If the club wants something ACL can't or won't give then let's build a new ground. But let's not let Sisu off the hook for needlessly punishing the fans.

Really amazes me how many people are sticking up for ACL here, they too are at fault. Too many bandwagoners, if we was making money at the Ricoh and had access to revenues like other clubs do at their stadiums none of this would of happened in the first place.

i remember having a job interview a few years back , and at the end i was asked if i had any questions... all i said was that i was only prepared to leave my current position for "X" amount, to which the director agreed to , and i took the job.
then , when i was at a managers meeting, it turned out i was earning 10% more than the highest paid manager there, and everyone got all pissy .. but i asked if they negotiated their salary at the interview, and they said they felt that was wrong or didnt have the confidence to do so.

point is, you dont accept a contract , and then whine like bitches about it afterwards when you see what you could've, should've, would've, and if you dont like it you either put up with it, leave or renegotiate.

how can CCC or ACL be at fault for putting down terms, and SISU agreeing to them ???

sure, threre are mitigating factors like relegation, revenues FFP etc... but thats when you renegotiate your position, like a real business ... not chuck your toys out of the pram and stomp your way to sixfeilds , and then cry and lie like a spoilt brat trying to get its own way.

Fuckin grow up SISU !! and start acting like a professional outfit now you haven't got your own way.

and bring us back home !!!!

How much are these revenues worth then?

I can't see any realistic scenario that benefits CCFC returning to the Ricoh if Sisu are at the helm !!
Obviously I want my club back at the Ricoh but not at a cost that cripples the club for generations.
So its Sisu out for me and i'm going to be selfish like the sixfield attendees until Sisu are gone !

Comparing business to eating children, seems reasonable..

Lol !!
Are you for real ?

Oh so plunging to administration for the first time in our history had nothing to do with not owning the stadium and needing 22,500 paying adults at full ticket prices with a wage bill which was only average on the league we were in?

Please explain.

Just a reminder that prior to the JR, most people here and many others including Ann Lucas, SBT etc. were calling for a rental return to the Ricoh. Can someone explain what the difference was back then with legal action pending but not a barrier to a return?

Negotiations should start right now and if they want to talk about legal actions, F&B, or tablecloth colourings there, fine. Everyone should be calling on all sides to get talking. Either side putting out preconditions is just stalling and stopping fans from seeing their club in Coventry.

Not so, It is sisu who have been totally wrong in their management of CCFC, It was sisu who tried to distress ACL to get the Ricoh on the cheap.
It is sisu who should now be begging for talks on a return to the Ricoh. Sisu will have to bite the bullet and accept any conditions laid down by
CCC/ACL to have any hope of a return.

Personally I wouldn't deal with them ever again.

If only ACL hadn't refused to speak to the club before them paying the money, they could have already agreed a deal in principle ready for signing this morning and season tickets on sale this afternoon!

Not so sisu have not dropped the JR appeal.

They came along because the club went bust due to the crazy rent deal.

I responded to your first preposterous post !
The club went bust by running up debt and selling its stake in acl and F&B revenues !

The unknown is what would have happened if SISU hadn't come along. We've ended up in admin anyway so what we will never know is would we have been better off going into admin then. If we had where would we be now? Would we still be in the same mess or would we have emulated Southampton. I think for a lot of people the thinking will be we couldn't have ended worse off than we are now.

It's the ones who "stick up " for the sisu clowns who worry me.
None of this would have happened, if sisu had conducted themselves in a professional and decent manner.

Neither side have a choice so they better get over it.

Agree ... but SISU dropping a future appeal and there ridiculous demands will be a start such as paying for what they want and not expecting it to be handed to them. When it comes to choices I see CCC/ACL in the driving seat here.

The heavy lifting is required by SISU not ACL.

Exactly. This is just like all the yimes previous owners have talked of 50% ownership and the council and acl release statements talking about veto power. They wanna hurt the club

Get a fukin deal in principle done. If it fails then we know its sisu fault

You would have to be living on a different planet to assume it was anybody other than sisu's fault.

Reading Fisher's far more conciliatory statement today compared with his bellicose bravado of 12 months ago.Plus Pressley's candid admission last night that for the club to survive and prosper long term, that a return to the Ricoh is essential, then maybe the boycott by the majority of fans has indeed finally paid off. SISU originally stormed out of the Higgs Centre, threatening a new facility at Warwick Uni, until that was proved as not credible, forcing a return to the Higgs Centre.
All the posturing that SISU can easily sustain 3-5 years at Northampton, doesn't look quite as convincing now does it. As many people have repeatedly pointed out, the maths and the economics simply didn't stack up.
