I would have taken a point given who we were playing but just would like us to be able to hold onto leads! We wont get promoted unless we can address this.

Well done mcwank also

FT Very good point that in the grand scheme of things

a draw in northampton against Barnsley a very good point ?

When SISU bought us, werent we beating them 4-0 in a league above ?

i know what you mean know, its just sad we are here

Defence has sounded good in the last two games, 1st goal was directly from a free kick and 2nd sounds like more of a keeping error than a defensive error but I'll need to see it. We have to start putting away more chances at the other end though. 10 shots on target tonight.

Thought we deserved to nick that based on the second half performance.

Like someone has already said most would have taken 4 points from from Sheffield and Barnsley beforehand.

yep, i want us to be beating teams like barnsley at home, because i want us to go up.

Barnsley are a team in direct competition with us for the play offs, therefore it's a good point in the grand scheme if things. We may be a 'bigger' club than Barnsley but 'history' means nothing.

One second away from being unbewton this season too

However a win today would have meant losing to mk was bearable. Now we need a point Saturday to stop me stressing and crying..alot

I'll take that. Frustrating that we've scored 2 in the games we've failed to take full points from.

wonder if Barnsley would see a home draw against us as a good point ?, i doubt it

Mcquoid and Clarke for us
Hourihane scored a great free kick for them apparently and Lita scored a questionable equaliser

I think that's the thing. Before the game a draw would have been good IMO.

But to draw after going ahead twice is always disappointing. It's not a criticism, just a feeling more than anything.

Anyway, 3 points Saturday please CCFC :D

I'll take a point but it's disappointing to be ahead twice and still not win. Letting a goal in so soon after scoring is a worry. Like the late goals we concede we don't seem to learn from our mistakes or be able to find a way to stop it happening.

In this division there aren't many teams who are consistent so I feel if we can win the majority of our 'home' games, or at least not lose them, we can stay in touch with the play offs. For me thats all we need to do for the first half of the season. Can't see us running away with automatic promotion so stay in touch until Jan and then see what happens in the window.

Just back from the game. Shame we couldn't take all 3 points, but 1 is better than 0.

Agree completely with what Pressley had to say post match. Can't blame the extra minute played in the first half; you have to play to the whistle. Nothing excuses switching off.

Haynes MOTM for me. Good to see him making so much space for himself and us actually spreading the ball wide and finding him.pleased McQuoid got off the mark. Let's hope it's one of many.

Still early days but questions have to be asked over Allsopp being our number 1. Good shot stopper, and today he seemed to communicate more (I was behind the goal so heard the communication a bit better), but the two goals he must take part of the blame for. OK, it was OBrien I think who conceded a very poor free kick. But the wall was all wrong and he was possibly slow at getting down. And then the second equaliser was just comical. If you know your not going to catch it, go with the fist. If Lita got his head in the way, that would have been his own fault.

As I say, maybe too early to judge, and maybe I'm biased and think Burge is possibly equal to him from what I've seen of the two and being one of our own deserves a shot at being number one more. Let's hope he goes on to prove me wrong over the next few games :)

Think Webster and Johnson need to work on their passing.

Overall, we peaked too soon in the first half, and just couldn't convert our chances in the second, but did with stand a lot of pressure well in the second half at the same time.

It's clear Jackson needs game time and was a little slow at times, but hopefully it won't take him long to get up to speed with the others.

we will let in far more like their 2nd if Elvis doesn't set up a counter attack from corners even when jackson came on all 5ft 8 of him there were 11 in our box defending corners even bloody throw ins lead to 10 in the box and one on the edge we bring pressure on ourselves from set pieces then have nowhere to go if we do get the ball

If teams are inconsistent surely that means that we would expect seemingly random results and see that we win roughly one third of games.

Overall it's a good point. 4 in 6 is a good return. Yes if we have any aspirations then beating teams like Barnsley at "home" is a must however we have a team full of kids and free transfers and they are tipped to go up so overall I'll take that. A win at MK Saturday and we will probably be in top 8 which you would take after 4 games?

What we have to do is cut out silly mistakes. It is not acceptable. This isn't Sunday League and they are paid a lot of money to be better than that!
