As a cobblers fan that thread and a few others on there have been pretty embarrassing. Thankfully not all fans share that view. Its pretty depressing to think we had the first supporters trust who saved our club and later worked with clubs like afc wimbledon to help them set up their trust, then 20 years later our fans are coming out with shite like that because a few 15 year olds on twitter have given them abuse.
This was my favourite one:
"I had no real opinion on Cov before all this but they'll always be a club I have a dislike towards now. Yes, they should never have left the Ricoh and their fans have not been treated well, but there are ways to conduct yourself in such a situation- those fans should have been able to take the moral high ground and they can't. And I'm not just talking about three morons on here Marquis (although I think in truth the number was probably higher than that). From making token threats to sue NTFC, to vandalising the ground (I wonder how much time our janitorial staff have spent removing 'CCFC' graffiti), to encouraging visiting fans to Sixfields to boycott games, they've alienated people (i.e. us, NTFC fans) who could have been a real asset to them in terms of forcing SISU's hand on the Ricoh much sooner.
Good riddance, please do stay away."
Jesus.
