He wasn't bombed out, he was told he could leave as Pressley told him his game time would be limited. He was then set to leave the day the squad numbers were submitted so he wasn't given one, the move then collapsed and he was then injured shortly after. Pressley has said if he remains at the club he will be part of the squad and have a squad number.@ CCFC....What you say "You already know" isn't what you said...."He didn't get a squad number because he was set to leave the day they were submitted,".............Is totally different to what actually happened..........The long-serving midfielder was believed to be in talks with a League One side Barnsley "AFTER" becoming surplus to requirements with the Sky Blues. The bit that I've highlighted...."AFTER" That says to me he was bombed out before going into talks with Barnsley, which would have taken a good few days to set up. So to say "He didn't get a squad number because he was set to leave the day they were submitted," is utter bollocks.
It isn't bollocks, what I said was almost word for word what Pressley said at the fans forum, unless you also thinks what he said was BS.
Whats bollocks is people making stuff up and talking about speculation as fact.
Note: Seabourne wasn't in Pressleys plans yet still received a squad number, why is that? Surely on your reasoning Seabourne wouldn't have been given a squad number if he was being 'bombed' out by Pressley. It isn't a conspiracy as to why Baker didn't receive a number, maybe its actually for the reasons Pressley said
