Plastic flag wavers who threatened the real supporters who may have/did missed out on a ticket last Friday. Shame on you. See you in May, we will fill you in on this great squad Pressley has put together. PUSB.

Can we stop this crap now? I went today (season ticket) and I don't care who didn't go, we all support the club and should be celebrating a victory not slagging people off.

To survive at the Ricoh though this just isn't going to do it.

We need to and have to increase the numbers going through the turnstiles. The support is there in the city, we know it is. Too many though only wish to come out of the woodwork for big games.

It is very disappointing to see the huge drop in the attendance and something has to be done about that in order for us to survive and move forwards as a club.

Did anyone really think them fans from last Friday would go back? People who weren't even cov fans went just to say they went

I was there today but the prices put people off. They should cap it at 15 quid. I know so many ppl who were there last Friday but were not there today due to them refusing to pay over 20 quid for league 1 football. We stick in around the playoffs the attendances will increase.

I know people who were there today who could not make Friday.

But there is nothing new in this, I have been going to games since we were last at this level and can think of many similar situations.

Why all this crap about the attendance? Our attendance today was above average for league one! Why should we suddenly have attendances of 20000? We are still in league one playing fucking Yeovil!

We are still Coventry City aren't we? Do people have certain criteria where they only go based on opposition?

Yes, the same Coventry City that used to have 15000 attendances when we were in the Premier League.

Lets just hope that should we ever make it to Wembley this year (play-offs or JPT) that everyone of the 11,000 that went today get a ticket and don't lose out to those who only turn out for the big games.

It's a real shame that apathy is the only thing that has turned out in force today.

So is it no longer an individuals choice if they attend without receiving judgement?

Some hypocritical people on this forum.

Ask the prefect and astute. Full of excuses/reasons

I have my reasons. Was at work. So being 4 hours away with clear roads didn't come in to it. At work for Scunny game. Sorry but work for a living. But will make the Rochdale game. Can I buy you a beer at that game?

To expect 27000 again is ludicrous at this level , adding to the fact that the away followings are dreadful in this league , added to the logistical problems with tickets , queues .
However ..... That was around 5k short of satisfactory
and there was definately more than 11k , i would say about 13k , but still

Or do you mean not at work Nick?

BTW Nick were you at the game today? ;) Would think that you was the way you are having digs at our supporters not being there :)

I remember the days when we were top flight and 11k was seen as a decent gate

Support is earned and not a right. The debacle of Sixfields will take a long time to recover from if ever for some, supporters who went to many home games before Northampton are doing other things now and out of the habit. Then there is the ticket fiasco, having to queue for over an hour for an eleven thousand gate is a joke, something from Fawlty Towers if you ask me, season tickets not arriving in time all has an effect. Wtf will happen if we ever have a home replay against a major club in the cup when they only have 10 days to sell 30000+ tickets ?. It just proves to me those running this business are not fit for purpose.

Ok ...it looked more than 11k , comprende

As it suits your argument. 2 out of 3 seats were definitely empty - it was not a good showing. Lying about a crowd is fraud so report it if you feel its a lie.

The operational part of returning to the Ricoh was always going to take time to get up to speed. Would you have preferred to stay in Northampton till November so that everything was running perfectly?

Support is earned I agree, but 27000 last Friday to 11000 today? Every reason to feel disappointed with that.
