Can'y say that I am happy at all about the thought of Wasps owning ACL. But I have always said the council must not give the rights away to a seriously valuable asset. But the fact is if they get a viable commercial offer, should they not take it.
I have not read all of the posts on this long thread, so sorry if this is a repeat, but if Wasp see a commercial value, why don't SISU? Or is it they just do not have the funds to match any commercial offer?
The problem I have I can not see any stadium development being less than £20 million, so why do SISU feel that a punt on the RICOH at about the same albeit on a 99 year leasehold, is not good value?
The bloke is like dog shit on any discussion path.

Again, sarcasm. You're really struggling with this aren't you. Perhaps it's because you don't have a sense of humour.
Reading through this, there are some mentalists on here! 95% don't want this move to happen but some can't get enough of it. incidentally all people who were dead against us moving to Northampton.
That SISU match whatever offer the other consortium makes
Exactly! People keep saying it should be matched but we don't know what it is. Same as that rent offer.Even if that offer is an artificial offer used to bump the price above what is fair?
It was poor sarcasm as the impact was confused by the Aldi / Poundland reference. The news reference was a direct comparison to Tesco and Aldi- The Also subsequent reference to Woolworths also confused the comment. To be effective you have to be punchier in the delivery.
Also as I have never visited such ghastly establishments the irony will always be lost on me (though I have been to a Tesco petrol station once)
Yes, a laughing matter. Fancy that, people being interested in facts.
How do you know they are ghastly if you have never visited them. At certain times you will see more new vehicles sold by your company in the car park of one of these ghastly companies than in one of your dealers. Must admit I prefer Sainsburys myself.
If SISU were not here and it was your mate Mr Coventry as Chairman would you expect him to match the offer as well?I hope that most think it will finally be the thing that brings this sorry saga to a happy end once and for all.
What most people want is SISU to stop playing games that benefit nobody and just keep hurting our club.
That SISU match whatever offer the other consortium makes and finally the football as always planned buy ACL.
I answered your question -- why didn't you respond?
I guess it must be hard for you.
For years you worshipped sisu and they made a twat of you.
Then you worshipped the council and they made a twat of you.
Poor Italia

By the way they don't know the offer as the Council will not tell them.
Which as we know would be a bargain in the Premiership.
Unfortunately previous management (and Sisu) took the gamble on a fixed rental as they thought 'Operation Premiership' would work.
Sisu should have renegotiated this as a condition of taking over but we have done this to death.
Do you always make everything up to divert attention when you struggle to make a point ?
Answer the question ..... If you were ACL would you wait until CCFC leave before getting another client or would you plan ahead ?
You supported the rent strike by SISU. Do we really need to dig out the "well done SISU" quotes on this again to make you look even more of an idiot than you already are?
exactly, spot on. Getting rid of sisu is all that matters, not who owns the Ricoh.Because they are only interested in buying the Ricoh and this move will prevent that from happening. Once that's gone, there's no reason to sick around propping up a loss-making third tier football club.
Are people really scraping the barrel to excuse it? Surely it would be totally different if it was cov rfc?
It isn't all that matters, the football club is all that matters. Some seem to forget that, saying that some only come on to back up other posts every so oftenexactly, spot on. Getting rid of sisu is all that matters, not who owns the Ricoh.
Where do you get this information from?
Surely when you make all these statements on people and topics you need to offer proof, otherwise you look an idiot.
Not really sure if it's legal to make false accusations.
Anyway back on topic ......

We don't know the offer, so match what? It's wrong but it may be the only way CCC/ACL can safeguard the future for the Ricoh..
Hopefully it's not just revenge on SISU and hopefully Sisu have the opportunity to match the offer.
That's amazing!Sisu the only game in town and I love the signature

We don't know the offer, so match what?
It's wrong but.....
Says it all I guess, I have no issue with them looking after their business. It just makes them look silly after their spiel about the club and how it belongs in coventry and it shouldn't be moved.
We don't need to know but Sisu do.
But why are people saying match it without knowing, it could be a stunt to push prices up no?We don't need to know but Sisu do.

Seems like one big game of poker to them all apart from the fans!A brave game of bluff if that's the case, would the ACL and the Council turn down any offers if they didn't really have another one? If SISU stick an offer in maybe they could call any bluff and we can all move on.
I cannot believe that some on here are saying that this will actually be a good thing! People are not really that naive to think that SISU would just pack their bags if they lose the Ricoh are they??
This would be a bigger disaster than the move to Northampton in my opinion, at least we had hope of a return to a stadium and eventually have some stake in it to gain revenue but this would stop any of that. Of course Wasps bid could be as bad a SISU's previous bid and we have nothing to worry about (at the moment) but it does speak volumes that SISU havent made a bid or even a comment (or not that we are aware of). I wonder what Waggott has to say about this at the trust meeting?
As for Wasps - why would they spend this amount of money and just play European games there, doesnt really add up to me?
A business investment?
Lord help us if the sisu scum had ever got their filthy hands on the Ricoh.
Some people just do not seem to understand that sisu are not Coventry City, in fact sisu could not give a toss about Coventry City, that is just so plain to see. It amazes me, the fact that there are people who seem to believe that if sisu owned the Ricoh, all of City's troubles would be over! Nothing could be further from the truth, resolution of our problems will not begin till sisu are gone.
Seems like one big game of poker to them all apart from the fans!
For the fans it's like one great big red hot poker rammed up the arse.
