Who do we ask about things like the walls, the JH statue, and the badge on the side of the ground?

Wasps will want their own identity, for sure, and we're down to temporary tenants now. Do Wasps want those things to stay, or do they want to pop their own identity around the place? Do CCFC want those things to stay, or if they insist they're moving, aren't they bothered? Do CCC/Higgs have a view, or given they're selling do they consider this no longer their issue?

I know that when Wasps ST holders had their recent tour they were told stuff would be going up around the ground soon - a Wasps crest will go up facing the RG roundabout before Xmas. They were also told when they asked about the colour of the seats that there were no immediate plans but that might change at some point.

i thought I heard Sandra Garlick say that's what she's up to now, focusing on the match day experience, including the walk up to the arena, and inside the place too?

You'd have to ask how much influence we'd actually have though.

If it's Wasps stadium and we're the short term tenants... if you were Wasps, why on earth would you pander to us?!? You might for a couple of years until you've settled in, I suppose...

Another question could be, I suppose, do Wasps intend rebranding at all themselves, to fit in with their surroundings?

The badge is easy enough, they'll just stick a Wasps one up there with the others. Can't imagine anything will happen with the statue, bricks or memorial garden - they will be wanting to at least appear that they give a toss about us. I guess until we move (as we all know SISU are building a new stadium) everything will stay where it is.

It would be nice to know if they have a timeframe in mind though, and if the club have (or want) any influence. Of course to begin with they'll want to get people onside, but there must be a plan. From their POV if they don't make the place 'home' they'll suffer some of the same crises of identity we've had since moving there - and their need is even more pressing, having popped up the M40!

I noticed pictures of old city players in the toilets tonight

Its been said before the badges will stay as its still our home. The seats will remain sky blue too. The JH statue and the Wall have not been mentioned, but I expect them to stay, cus they cant afford to alienate the people of Coventry if this move is gonna work

Who even owns the JH statue? The fundraisers? The club? ACL? Fabian Debec?

Exactly, when you're trying to integrate yourself into the community, even if only because you want to sell tickets, you're not going to do something that will upset a lot of people. It's not like there's a lack of space for them to put their own things in there.
