CCC owe us (11 Viewers)

not saying it helps, but surely the council are obliged to cater for the majority of the Coventry residents ?

If more locals cared about their club, they wouldnt have done this.

I would vite against them at the next election if i lived in cov

The majority of Cov residents would never go to a ccfc game, and although might have sympathies towards the principle of having a team playing in our city, would probably side with the business decision- Which means not subsidising ccfc without a measurable return, and not dealing with underhanded owners who can't play fair like sisu. So when a good offer comes along with the chance to walk away from these business shenanigans, what were they to do...?

There is the argument that ccc should grant planning permission for a smaller stadium, but if you follow ccfc's statement to the letter, it reads like they'll soon be announcing a site- which won't be in Cov. Or it's just the same old propaganda waffle from Comical Timmy...

If UKIP or Lib Dems promised to support local sport including CCFC and CRFC I would certainly listen to their proposal.

Whats wrong with that ?

So if Lib Dems wanted to close your children's school and Labour vowed to keep it open you'd vote Lib Demm because they didn't back the wasps take over of the Ricoh?

CCC don't owe CCFC anything. They owe it to the people of Coventry to go back to being a council and finally wash their hands of a football club and its ridiculous owners. And thank god it is happening.

I agree, CCC made a huge mistake in taking the unrealistic plans of Bryan Richardson to a conclusion.

Now they need to stay out of it & let the raw commercial realities of the situation find its own answer.

Anything could happen, Wasps could succeed or fail, CCFC could build a stadium & thrive or they could languish in league one.

Don't think it needs CCC to identify sites but this should be the next step now. I can see no reason that the new ground can't be within the city and I if CCC stand in the way I find it hard to believe that any of our fans would support them in their actions.

Lets get some sites identified and put to Fisher at the next SCG meeting. Would be nice to see those meetings serve a purpose for once.

He he has said many many times they have a few options and it's all very confidential.
now is the time to be more transparent Mr Fisher, name the site/s and try and get you fan base on side.
otherwise just clear off, your only job is to secure the future of this club
