Ha ha - when will that be then? I assume when we go bust - Mind you the trust called for admin and points deduction on TV didnt they so I shouldnt really be so surprised.

So, can you explain what motive there would have been for the club to return if it wasn't for nopm?

Wasps takeover perhaps?

SISU for all their faults were LIED to by fans who promised they would return in numbers if we were back at the Ricoh - and then turned round to club and said "sorry and all that but we are actually NOPM until you go"

It will be when the Shysters known as SISU have gone, and CCFC is on the road to recovery.

That will be facilitated by the consistent action of CCFC fans who refuse to act as apologists for the destruction wielded by the incompetent arse that is Fisher and his handler JS.

Are you being serious ?
WE, the fans, have treated SISU poorly ??

OK, if Wasps are willing not to charge rent and let us have the revenues we generate then this might happen. We are a cash cow to them, nothing more nothing less.

Get real BSB. No one gets owt for nowt. Even if CCFC as part of a SISU owned ACL would be expected to contribute to the facilities overheads, but then share in the rewards.

You are really demonstrating that you have very little clue on how a successful business is structured. (On that basis I wonder if you are really Tim?)

Wow, we lied to SISU. Sod off you dipstick. I have never said I would return whilst SISU are in charge. SISU were not promised anything but they hoped we would all return, but with what is on offer today few will. That may change if the product changes. But you are an incredible ignorant arse to BLAME the fans

You seem to be totally oblivious to the fact that many fans were prepared to work with SISU if they themselves demonstrated one ounce of consideration for the fans themselves and the future of OUR club. They had a great chance to own the RICOH, but your chubby incompetent friend managed to totally fuck up and left the doors open for a Rugby team to take our asset.

We were all LIED to on here once by a fan who made a big song and dance about how they were going to demonstrate inside of Suxfields to show how us all how it should be done only no demo was carried out. You just cant trust anyone these days.

Sorry but this is absolute rubbish. Look how many people were on the marches and how many people are at games. Seems to me pretty much everyone who said they would come back has. Remember not everyone goes to everygame so you have to allow for that in the total number.

Our average since we've been back is just over 11K isn't it? That puts us 4th in the league, not bad considering how dire the games are. Of course it would be great if 20K turned up but we're 18th in L1 what are you expecting.

You also don't seem to be considering that while some people said they would come back as soon as we returned to the Ricoh there were many who said the move to Sixfields would do permanent damage to the fanbase, that people would find other things to do and not return and that's exactly what's happened.

I really can't believe I have just read this. The Fans owe nothing to CCFC and SISU it is entirely the other way round.

How does not attending meetings or refusing to engage gain influence? That is EXACTLY why the Trust/Michael are pissing in the wind at the moment.

NOPM was an absolute disaster for this club and those responsible for organising it should be ashamed. It has made it ok not to support the club anymore becasue we have shit owners and that should never have become an accepted thing to do.

How can people attend meetings when the location and details of a new stadium are just a folly?
Curtain patterns and seat colour discussions are futile at the moment without the basic details.

Its yet more playing into Sisu's hands by giving the impression to FL/FA etc that us fans are okay with a new stadium.
Just like the FL bought into Northampton but never asks questions because some fans attended.

NOPM was part of Sisu's decision to come back along with realising that if they were not there when Wasps arrived they had no plan B.

If they dont go to matches, they cant really be called fans can they?

How do you know if you dont engage.

I went to the first stadium forum. My view was the new stadium was bollocks but at least I listened. ironically, the biggest decision affecting the club over the last 5 years has just happened with no consultation by your beloved wasps.

Given what was happened I would think there is a lot more likelyhood of a new stadium so i wouldnt dismiss any of those meetings.

I am a lot more OK with a new stadium in Coventry than putting money into Wasps' coffers.

Not Sisu, the Club - which are different things as people endlessley go on about on here.

The club, over the past 20 years, have treated the fans awfully.

Will never happen. They won't get planning permission. Residents will object citing the Ricoh as adequate for the city's needs. Second stadium in Cov would be pointless - as seen from the outside by neutral observers.

Council would never ever allow it anyway

Why would renting a inferior stadium off Sisu be better than renting the Ricoh off Wasps.
You really need to get over it.

Fans are not obliged to return - especially if the quality on the field doesn't meet their own standards. They want at least a good performance even if we lose. How many good performances have our team provided since the Gillingham game? What progress has been made to improve the situation on and off the field?

Why would a disillusioned fan want to come back? Have we made progress on the stadium, have we come to a joint statement on the future with Wasps, have we won a few games, does it look as if we will ever get out of this mess? I can think of no reason why the disillusioned fans would want to come back at the moment.

I don't think NOPM has anything to do with the missing fans. We are just hopeless at the moment.

Until we know the actually details and business plan for a new stadium we cannot say either way whether we will be better off. But you're not comparing like for like.

Sisu - inferior stadium, but would have 365 day access and ability to generate income.

Wasp - better stadium but only renting it 23-27 days per annum with no/little access to additional revenue.

We know what we get with the Ricoh, we just need Sisu to negotiate on a deal while Wasps are receptive and inferring they want to sort something out.

The stadium will definitely be inferior but the ability to generate income will be dependent on it's position.

What exactly are wasps going to give us? You keep banging on about 'incremental revenues'. What would be acceptable rent, revenues, and the amount we'll have to pay for the revenues?

You say it like it is a fact, but the fact is, it is only your opinion.

If planning permission was put in the council could only reject it with a good reason.
The biggest reason would be that it would have to be green belt.
It has no chance in that respect. Particularly as to generate any REAL income it would need additional area for retail expansion.
Any green belt going would have housing as first call.

People also need to understand the financing of a new stadium.
Any money raised would need to be financed so straight away we would add £25M to the clubs debt.
To service that loan would be approaching £1M a year and you can add facilities, rates and maintenance to that.
Don't forget Sisu are already taking out circa £2M in management fees.

These are the sort of questions people should be asking Sisu not getting involved in curtain colours for the new stadium board room.
Makes me laugh that some fans are so gullible.

Sorry Brighton, if you think SISU owned the Ricoh arena could you see them letting us play at the stadium rent free with all the revenue generated being put on the pitch? They are leaches mate, we would have bobbed along just as we are now while the owners leached every penny they could.

We need to get the best offer we can as we have no plan B.
This is the time for Sisu to do it while Wasps are receptive and maybe uncertain about their decision to buy the Ricoh.
However Sisu keep going on about this Timpot stadium and JR appeal instead.

Exactly.
The same would go for any new stadium. Perhaps using the stadium as a foot in the door to a bigger retail park belonging to them.

Residents will cite a 2nd stadium bringing economic benefits to another part of the city in addition to the roaring success in Foleshill.
