The usual "these people are sticking up for SISU", "oh these people who say the nasty council did something wrong are just saying it because they think SISU did nothing wrong". The usual Jackanory. I wouldn't quite say liar though. Just a night fisherman!

So that makes you what then Nick?

So those that say nasty things about Sisu think the other sides did nothing wrong?

So because I differ to you and your cronies I am a liar?

Never hidden the fact that I blame sisu 95% for all of this so why would I not attack them or put it another way DEFEND them.

Show me one good thing they have done to better this club since they have took over and maybe I may see it another way ?

Its not about doing something or nothing - its about doing the RIGHT thing. Open letters like this just enflame the situation. This letter appears out of nowhere, is NOT the view of the 2000 members of the trust , will be ignored and we are no further on.
Go to do better than that. Why not a complete boycott of one game at the Ricoh now?(apparently it was so succesful at Northampton) Show our displeasure at Wasps/SISU - what about activity at Wasps game? Dont see any protest planned for that?

What is the view of the 2000 members out of interest? This does reflect my view personally I would like some explanations. I would like them done via a phone in on CWR or in the CET.

Activity at the Wasps game? They are the landlords and their fans were/ are in the same boat as us. A protest against them, as a third party, would certainly enflame the situation. We need their support if anything. If after 4 years we don't have a stadium we may be begging them for a good Deal.

No, because you make random things up. So I have just said you aren't a liar, then you go on and on about "Oh that makes me a liar then". Clearly not, as I have just said that and you quoted me saying I am not saying you are a liar?

I am not quite sure what you are actually going on about or where any of it has come from, it is like random sentences with nothing to do with the post you quoted from me put together to make a rant that has jack shit to do with anything.

So why are you saying my car is green? Why on earth would you say my car is green? Is it because I didn't say it was blue it must be green?

Reduced average gates from over 20k to less than 10k. Now we have a better choice of where we sit and less queues. It has also made it easier to park your car and also get away after the game.

Takes Time to organise a wasp protest why don't you coordinate it?
The same people on here moan all the time but don't want to do anything about it, come on start it off I'm sure you will get a large turn out after all it is a Sunday not so many at work should have finished having dinner with the family i'm sure we could get lots to turn up.

All the usual excuses for not turning up shouldn't really apply you never know I may even join you up there.

That alone justifies a polite letter asking for information.

Damn it, I knew I should have said it wasn't Red because if I said it wasn't red it would be sure to be pink.

So do you agree SISU can be trusted now? You must do as you said my car is pink.

So if I make things up does that not make me a liar?

Where are these made up stories?

The one in the last post, where you are going on about random shit that didn't happen and was never said?

No, like I said it is top fishing. ;) Not lying as you don't actually believe them yourself. One person said one thing so it must mean something else type shit. Classic Michael type posting of a few months ago.

Fuck me does that make me any different to you or anyone else on this site then?
You do your own fair share of that.
After all this site wouldn't work if we all agreed.;)

Well no, because I don't take one post that says the sky is purple and then turn it round and say something totally different?

"ah you said that man is a plonker so it must mean you are calling that woman a witch"

You go on about people sticking up for SISU all the time, nobody does it.. (apart from RFC who doesn't count)

What the fuck are you on.

So it is like when You put in a ;) and then think it is OK but we can all see through that one.

I am just giving you a demo of what it is like talking to you. So because I put a wink that must mean something cryptic like I love the sad face.

The difference is, I don't quote things and then completely go off about something that hasn't actually been said. I don't keep going on about random stuff that hasn't happened. I don't take you saying "I like cheese sandwiches" as "I fucking hate bacon sandwiches" and then go off on one about it.

No I don't agree with you that SISU can be trusted :censored:

That alone justifies a polite letter asking for information.

The problem is that it's not exactly polite. You could write the same sort of letter, formally, politely, without even the need to offer the trust's opinions, but asking for information.

Instead, to me this reads as confrontational and critical, and with an unneccessary deadline - it's hardly a peace offering and given how the club regards the trust I'm not sure it's entirely helpful. It might all be completely true, but that's not the point - if you're trying to build or rebuild a relationship with the club (or indeed any other person or business) then starting out with demands and criticism isn't a great strategy, imho.

As for 'standard business practice' - the trust isn't in business with the club. Demands and deadlines don't quite make sense at this stage in proceedings, at least to me. Ask nicely, and if you don't hear something within a few weeks ask again, and take it from there.

See OSB's post for asking questions. Just ask them, no beating around the bush, no snidiness. Don't give them reasons to not answer them.

It is the same as when Michael used to write open letters which were great up until he had to get sly digs in.

I think we would all write the letter in our own styles , but unless it is kept simple and direct then the interpretation is down to who reads it rather than in the spirit it was often written. I accept the letter on face value as a group i.e. the Trust expressing real concern.

I disagree that the trust are not in Business with the club...... Their members purchase tickets so there is a contract between CCFC and every member that purchases tickets be they macth day and or season tickets. They have chosen the Trust to voice their concerns the same way that many pressure groups operate.

I gave my advice - basically got told to fuck off - seems the trust like to write letters but that is all they are capable/able to do.

you that failed to make any sort of protest at sixfields for a year offered your advice on starting a protest and weren't listened to, boggles the mind.

Not half as much as others are it seems. The invisible PR Machine is beating me.

Nick, you keep beating this "PR Machine" drum in most threads. Can you explain what your point is? I don't read every thread so must have missed it.

on the deadline issue, doesn't the clubs own customer charter indicate they will reply to all correspondence within 10 days. The Trust letter I think was sent over 2 weeks ago. So a deadline of 31 December is hardly unreasonable. But there seem to be a lot of different views on that issue and the style so each to their own.

I also think you have to factor in the efforts put in by the Trust off screen to maintain and at times restart discussions/contact. Some times the "tone" will be set by the sheer frustration of having to deal with some of the people involved at the club etc , the dodging that goes on and the hurdles that keep being put in the way. The latest hurdle is going to be that contact with the Board on such things as the content of this letter is best served by it being channelled through Strange & Ward. Think most would agree there are issues with that arrangement certainly

How do the Trust let people know that they are trying to do things if they do not make letters etc public. I suspect they knew the reaction they would get from the directors of the club etc before they wrote it and style, tone, bluntness etc no matter how couched would not have changed it. But they have to try don't they?

Interesting the focus has been on style/tone/timelimit not the questions asked

still a 100% more than YOU have ever done and will ever do though

all you've done is given advice that wasn't listened too, I've done plenty of exactly the same, so neither of us have done anything (well the fixfootball domain name is mine but I don't consider that anything), not that there is anything we can do other than make it harder for sisu to stay which is something you've done the opposite of. Funding them at sixfields and being their white knight on here.

I don't think anybody can question the questions, just that they don't think the way they were done was right.

I understand people will be frustrated, but just need to keep the digs out and keep it simple.

We each see it differently Nick ..... I have no issue with that or the letter. In the scheme of things it isn't important other than to illustrate that communication between club and its fans is not smooth, open or on the best of terms

How much crap will you take before you say enough is enough?
Have you ever thought that people don't want whats being dished up.
No product no fans. Easy

I agree, we all know SISU will try to get out of it but surely if you word it simple and to the point without the aggro it's giving them less reason to ignore it and makes them look bad / worse when they don't answer?

The letter is actually well worded in my view having read it a few times. Lets face it all of the fans have been too patient and polite over this whole saga from start to finish, i bet other clubs may not have taken this 'calm' approach (not saying either way is right or wrong by the way). We are more than entitled to ask these types of questions and demand a deadline as enough is enough.

There are answers to many questions around council and Higgs motives during this process but lets face it they are no irrelvant at this point, they wont move the club forward and only SISU can do that.
