Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. Its just the way you rant about the Wasps takeover on a 24hrs basis while belittling anyone who accepts whats done is done meant it was important to you. I guess I was wrong.

Nah, I only try to belittle the people who thought it was big and clever to have a go at those going to Sixfields but now get excited over Wasps. Not really anyone.

I am not sure everybody can just walk out of work with that much notice. If I remember too that day I was on a job and I was the only person who knew what was going on with it, so if I wanted to just walk out I probably wouldn't have had a job to go back to the next day.

Whereas if it was in the evening, I was planning to finish said job, pop in through town and then go to the game.

In that case if treacle town ship in an out of town football club from a higher league I look forward to seeing your posts belittling anyone who has had a go at those who have been to see Wasps but go to treacle town. I also take it you wont be going yourself as its a matter of principle.

Wouldn't myself, only if the club had tried to build a ground within the Coventry border but then got rebuffed by CCC, in which case would.

Not if it was 85 miles away under any circumstances.

Principles seem to be very fluid for quite a few on here and in the Trust.

Nah, I will be copying and pasting italia and steve's posts about Wasps. Pretty much like I am doing at the minute but changing the wording from when we went to Sixfields. ;)

Most people can see the irony, some have even recognised some of the comments posted back to people. Some fail to miss it completely, but keep an eye on some of the things said, I might even use some of your corkers :) Have a look at who it is having digs at people going to wasps and why, I think you will find most of it is tongue in cheek aimed at the people who weren't afraid of throwing shit about themselves. You won't find any posts calling Wasps fans scabs because they want to go and watch their team or anything like that I don't think. I certainly wouldn't blame a Wasps fan for going to watch their team after it had been moved, I even wouldn't blame a random bloke from down the rugger club for wanting to go.

However, think back to when "locals" were going to go to Northampton, when free tickets were apparently thrown everywhere and people went to Sixfields to watch their team and then have a think about why people might be freely throwing digs in now those people are so excited about Wasps?

What are principles? Are they those things people switch on and off to suit? We heard so much about morals, spines, principles when we went to Sixfields but it appears they have been forgotten now, no doubt they will come out again soon.

I have my white socks and spliffy jacket ready to go to treacle. ;)

You're obsessed. Everyone knows (and says)Sisu are useless cunts. Only in your feeble little mind are people defending them.

Genuine question and definitely not looking for an argument...If say Tony/BHSB/LAST or anyone else proposed a sisu out protest is that something you would support/is there another action fans could take that you would support?

Yeah a trust day out at a wasps game, I'd be all over that!

I may not agree with everything you have ever done in this Michael but at least you were consistent! (Unless you are really sat at home waving a plastic wasps flag)

I wouldn't propose it Michael or even support it because basically I don't care anymore. But do agree with a Trust day out at the Wasps they supply you with flags and all sorts of stuff be nice to see the Ricoh with a buz about the place. One final point you don't know of any hills near Bermuda do you?

Maybe the trust day out could be encouraging people to go to a city game, get it like Gillingham where there was a great atmosphere ;)

Or not because people have began to see the trust for what they are and no longer give a fuck about them..

I wouldn't go that far, I thought the Trust went through a change and did start to get a bit more balanced. Now have gone a big quiet and having people from the Trust coming on and trying to justify why the Wasps move is so good is more damaging for them. Yes it may just be a personal opinion, but if Bill Gates were to say he hates Jews I am pretty sure that would reflect on Microsoft wouldn't it?

I have always thought that the trust should be like a union for the fans, if we get moved to Northampton they don't have to agree but they can still work with the club to get the best deal possible for the fans who do want to go and make the best of a bad situation. That isn't them standing outside Sixfields telling everybody to go in, but being a "negotiator" type thing for the fans.

They should be nowhere near fan ownership though.

Also they have done good things like getting ball boys in at away games and things like that, it is just that the things like that go unheard of sometimes or over ridden by protests etc.

As Trust Board members its seems we are not allowed a personal point of view, most of Board will not come on and say anything for fear of getting hassle, particularly from you Nick. We do not mind criticism and questions but rather than throw them at us from behind keyboards why not get to a meeting and ask them in person or via email?

Personally and I mean this sincerely, I want you to put yourself forward for the board in July Nick as I would like you to experience just how much time, work, hassle, flack and effort is involved in taking on this voluntary position.
No way I am doing this again, want to just support my Football team.

Of course people can have personal opinions, but can you not see the irony at all in the way you defend the Wasps move? not even a little bit? Can you not see how you coming on here saying what you do about Wasps and how you dont care where they came from could make the trust look bad?

Where have I ever said you don't put time in? Read through the threads, I often put how much I respect how much time, effort and stuff you put in. It doesn't mean I have to agree with you though does it? I have never turned round and said anybody from the trust isnt a city fan or any crap like that because it would be wrong, it isn't hard to see how dedicated you lot are to the cause.

If you want to go to a Wasps game then fine, have a great time. Think back to your opinions of those at Sixfields and what you were tweeting / retweeting and how people were treated then, other city fans who just wanted to watch their team. For christ sake then dont go onto a CCFC forum trying to justify the move and reeling off their propaganda :( This is not me saying you can't have an opinion as everybody is allowed them, but things will reflect on the trust won't they?

If the leader of the anti fox hunt club because it is cruel comes out and then decides that actually, going to hunt deer is a great and then goes onto the fox hunt forum to say why hunting deer is good, it would look a bit dodgy wouldn't it? (crap example I know).

If Stephen Pressley comes out and says he thinks midgets are disgusting, it isn't Stephen Pressley the man from Scotland. It is Stephen Pressley the CCFC manager that hates midgets isn't it?

People get frustrated as most of us want the best for CCFC but when you see things from outside and take a step back things can look very different even if they aren't meant in that way. Of course city fans are going to be unhappy with wasps moving here for various reasons, then the head of the city fans group comes on and then says how great it is, how will fans be / react?

The trust are more than welcome on here, I have offered many times to create a section on here or do anything possible to incorporate communication between the trust and fans as easy as possible including bits on your own website etc. I still would help out as much as I can if it was something I know about which is web stuff where I feel I could do things to help.

Yeah sometimes I admit it is like a dog with a bone having digs at people about Wasps, but how were people when Sixfields were happening? People just going to watch the team they have supported all their lives. If they said they just wanted to watch their team, they were mocked, it wasn't good enough. Now all of a sudden people just want to go and watch top class rugby and have a beer with their mates, fair play to them if they do. Maybe they just need to think about how they were a few months ago with others and see why people might be having little remarks back at them.

That's exactly the way to deal with constructive criticism isn't it? Then people wonder why people don't want to go to the pub and disagree...

More Excuses as to why people don;t go.
Plenty go there and disagree, some just can't be bothered to do anything then cry when it is against what they believe.

Nothing constructive in anything you say Nick just piss take and Wumming.

At least I admit to it you just hide behind it;)

I've given plenty of constructive stuff to be fair.

Don't get me wrong I do my fair bit with you and bhsb, you make it clear you post things to get a bite and know exactly what you say. It is when people can't actually see what they have posted is what worries me.

An example is like when you post "I'm going to get wasps tickets now ;) ;) ;)" just after you have posted about how you think it is wrong, it's obvious. You know exactly what you are posting, you don't believe it.

However, I'd love jans posts earlier to have been a massive wum, he would have got record bites. Im just more worried that people can't see why others may have an issue with some of it.

I've always seen jan as the one who comes in and calms things a bit when you and bhsb have escaped from your pens and apologise to the neighbors...
