The Telegraph and / or Trust should send a (polite!) open letter to SISU and request that an independent person be shown all the information on the new ground. They can sign confidentiality agreements and won't share any details but can simply report back if they believe anything is actually happening or not.

I quite like that idea, but someone with competence in business, building and the law to some extent please and not Mr Fishers choice.

Took 18 months of squabbling about finding someone to be an "independent" valuer of the Ricoh - never happened.
Or maybe it's SISU's turn to hide behind commercial confidentiality!

All ready been done mr Strange said he had seen it Mr Ward said they haven't.
Not bad considering they were at the same meeting.
So it could be true then again it might not be...
They are our independent reps on the ccfc board.

Hmm does it really though? I'm sure you've postured with this bullshit on many occasions in the past. Still waiting for anything credible to appear from that porky pie writing keyboard of yours!

Is the massive progress obtaining the contact details for the authorities that they need to talk too?

How is your prediction of Sisu winning the JR going? While we're at it can you ask Mr Fisher how the court case regarding a local politician and the likelyhood of a custodial sentence is going?

I'm starting to think you actually believe the bullshit that you bring yourself to type.
Get a grip of yourself. Fisher talks shite, and it seems you swallow every ridiculous word of it.

I wouldn't bother with RFC, he's obviously a Sisu plant as he knows sweet fuck all about absolutely nothing, and he proves it every time he posts.

Not one thing he supposedly knows has come true, a complete waste of time and space.

Ignore the clueless fucker

Before that weren't you saying we'll never go back there?

Sorry, you are just a nodding dog who does as it's told & believes it.

Without going into prediction whether they will build a new stadium or not ... what would be the order of process?

1) Locate a potential site - contact authorities for permissions - then buy the site
2) Locate a potential site - buy the site on condition planning permissions will be issued - then apply for permissions

I would say 2) but am no expert.

Wouldn't somebody need to check if they could get permissions though?

I think the main issue here is that TF has stated that one of the obstacles for the delay was discussions with the Highways Agency, who have now confirmed (24th Dec) that none had taken place.

Does anyone know exactly how FOI requests work, in particular:

Does the response apply to the date the request was submitted or the date of the response?

What happens if commercial confidentiality is involved, do they have to say it is commercial confidential, would that not give away that something is happening and therefore breach confidentiality?

Do the requests cover any third party and any project not specifically named as a new CCFC stadium? For example if Warwick Uni had a chat with the council about extensive sporting facilities would that trigger a yes result to the request?

I was wondering that, If they are asking if Tim Fisher has spoken to them for example, does that cover waggot? What if it's a third party?

Plus we all know mistakes with foi can be made, as down by ccc ;)

I think the best policy is to not believe anything anyone says until you see it in writing.

And even then, always check the small print.

Is anyone actually suprised by all of this, I really do not think the trust needed to even waste their time and effort asking for the information, after all anyone with their marbles still intact would of predicted the outcome of the information provided.

If you still or even did believe we would ever build, then call yourself a doctor or take yourself down A+E for a head examination.

Question now is, how long are we all going to put up with this utter and complete bullshit watching our club be destroyed and the proud heritage we once had become dust.

I suppose we can all continue bitching about it for another 2 years before we are the next Hereford United and then complain about what if's, after all every suggestion that posters put, their is always someone being negative and saying oh no we cannot do that, or the famous oh who would come in who would fund this and that, well, seriously, could it get any worse than it is now?

I think it is a process they have to go through to show that they have some justification for anything they may care to say or do in future with regard to their attitude to the owners.

Wouldn't 1) be described as doing your due diligence?
2) would possibly be a good way to waste lots of time and money if you don't get the necessary permissions.

This is from a site that is more about small schemes of self build houses, but probably has some relevance

Buy land subject to planning

The good news is that it is possible to avoid a lot of risk without reducing the potential gain. This is because it is perfectly legal and possible to make a planning application on land you do not own. You don’t even need the permission of the landowner — permission goes with the land, not with the applicant.

This means it is common practice in the development world to make a purchase subject to satisfactory planning permission — this is legally secured by exchanging contracts with completion conditional upon getting the permission you want, or by entering into an Option Agreement, which gives you the legal option to buy if you’re successful or to walk away if you’re not. Although such agreements require legal fees, very little money changes hands compared to the value of the site once it has the permission.

I think mistakes would be unlikely. Falsifying an foi response could result in a custodial sentence so you would expect this information to be highly accurate.
