Without going into prediction whether they will build a new stadium or not ... what would be the order of process?
1) Locate a potential site - contact authorities for permissions - then buy the site
2) Locate a potential site - buy the site on condition planning permissions will be issued - then apply for permissions
I would say 2) but am no expert.
lol,
Aren't these FOI's requests made on the applications for sports grounds etc. rather than individuals/companies? The original ones were.
Think it needs to be cleared up.
It could well be that it was asked "Has Tim Fisher been to see you to discuss a new football ground in your area" and if it was Steve Waggot or a 3rd party then they can quite clearly say no.... Same as "have CCFC approached you about a football ground" but CCFC have only approached about buying land and haven't asked about planning yet and stuff it could still be classed as a "no".
Need to pose the same question but this time under the guise of India Realty ,Fishers latest Entity .
happens all the time when private companies deal with local authorities or the govt. How would they reply with that? Would they just say "sorry we cant because of confidentiality?".
If that is the case, I'd just get the staff at the CCFC shop to phone all the councils to ask a question about buying land but say shhh its confidential
"anyone acting on their behalf relating to the development of a football stadium and/or any facilities relating to the business of a Football Club." this was included in the FOI
Would a FOI find out any more about the Ricoh deal for Wasps?
Already tried and they pleaded confidentiality
The deal maybe confidential but they will have to say if they have spoken to anyone.Ah so they just get a standard reply back saying its confidential?
The requests asked whether any discussions, meetings or correspondence had taken place between the Councils/Police forces and Coventry City Football Club, its owners, agents or anyone acting on their behalf relating to the development of a football stadium and/or any facilities relating to the business of a Football Club.
All of the Councils have now replied to say that no such discussions, meetings or correspondence have taken place. regarding this matter
This being the case then, do waggott and co take us for complete morons?
So for example if it was Wasps.
If you said "Are you speaking to anybody about the ricoh?" they would have to say yes but its confidential and we cant say who?
It is like a game of guess who...."have they got a beard???" "have they got a dog????"
So for example if it was Wasps.

I think the main issue here is that TF has stated that one of the obstacles for the delay was discussions with the Highways Agency, who have now confirmed (24th Dec) that none had taken place.
I wouldn't bother with RFC, he's obviously a Sisu plant as he knows sweet fuck all about absolutely nothing, and he proves it every time he posts.
Not one thing he supposedly knows has come true, a complete waste of time and space.
Ignore the clueless fucker
Again, he's so... unusual in his responses, if he were truly a plant, he'd be on the side of anyone but SISU!
How much does an FOI cost? Is it free to the person asking and picked up by the tax payer?
