A good friend of mine was speaking to Steve Brookfield the Clubs FD before Christmas, and he that Waggott received a phone call from Joy Seppala after the Oldham game, instructing him to sack Pressley. Waggott challenged her instruction suggesting she gave him more time, Brookfield does not believe Seppala will hold on for much longer

Hope this is right? If it is we need to do it before the end of Jan to give the new manager some time to get the majority of the SP/Waggott dross out the door.

Won't be sacked before the end of the window a new man will want money to spend.

I'll believe it when I see some evidence, or Joy throws in the towel.

We were all annoyed after the Oldham game, but I doubt this is true..

You have a real problem Nick with accepting the truth. This is absolutely factual.

Seen anything of Yankee Doodle Haskell over Christmas Garry?

I have a real problem when people feel the need to have multiple accounts to start rumours....... That is also absolutely factual ;)

So you can probably see why I might be a bit cynical of it ;)

When you say hold on in this context I take you mean 'hold on from sacking Pressley' not 'as in selling the club'?

Is this true? I can't for one minute think that SW could persuade JS to change her mind. If JS wanted him sacked then he would be gone. Simples

Whether or not its true I just wish he'd find the humility to look in the mirror, recognise that the bloke looking back is an enthusiast but not a manager and fuck off!

I can't agree with that Tony. I presume you are been sarcastic?

I think the Joy comment was more she will not hold on much longer with SP at the reins. Not hold onto to the club

Just pop down to the Kenilworth boozer and ask Garry what he meant Don.

CCFC could employ the best Manager in world Football, but without the money to buy the players
he or they would fail.

In our instance it's a change of owners that is needed, as i'm sure the majority would agree.

Presley may or may not be the man but until he's had some money to spend we will not know.

In this league we do actually - look at Scunthorpe when they recruit a real manager

Yes he must must be envious of all those managers with pots of cash to spend spend spend!
As I've said before, there are managers throughout the divisions doing great jobs on a shoestring. Compare him to his peers, not some fantasy league please.

If this rumour was true, and it's a massive "IF", just who would the club bring in to replace Elvis? Another name no-one has heard of? Unproven record? Because we sure as shit can't afford the wages of a decent manager with some ideas about him!
