I apologise if you think my analogy is "Crass" and Classless"....What does that make of the Millionaire Tim Fisher when he says "We batter people in court?"

Crass... doesn't make yours better.

Dann and Fox played here in the seasons 2007/08 and 2008/09.

Average Attendances:

2006/07: 20.342
2007/08: 19.123
2008/09: 17.407

2009/10: 17.305

So attendances dropped while they were here and the season after they left the crowd was unchanged.

There is absolutely no evidence to support what you say.

It will take a season to see the effects particularly if you bought early bird season tickets.
Although timings are not always clear the overal theme of sell anything that increases in value and obtain as many as you can for free in the hope they increase in value is clear to most of us now.
Sisu are just cruising along creaming off the top, happy at this level and fans with hopes are continually dashed as they have no intention of spending money to get us out of this division.
Those of us left are starting to realise this and you either blindly support or do something else.

Please note that I said AVERAGE attendance of 20-21k on takeover....(2006/07: 20.342 Your quote mate) Scott Dann was sold close season June 12th 2009.

SBK claimed that attendances dropped because Dann and Fox were sold. I looked up the numbers and found no evidence to support his claim.
My own opinion is that crow numbers were coming down to the HR numbers when the novelty of the Ricoh started to wear off AND when the financial crisis started to increase the unemployment rate and decrease many supporters budget for leisure activities.

Another interesting aspect is that it was in those years sisu spent the most on investing in the team. It seems to have little effect - because the investments didn't lead to success on the pitch.

Finally - Dann and Fox were sold by Ranson/Hoffman/Elliott. They did it to secure cash as they had burned up millions and getting nowhere in the process. Oh, and they even mortgaged season tickets and Ryton to the hilt.
Why anyone would welcome them back is beyond me.

Indeed. The 3 of them are revered as demi-gods on here. They trot out the usual excuses for them, like they didn't know what was going on, they were tricked by the evil sisu etc etc.

Yet the people who are on here and apparently worship them aren't the ones talking about them constantly. It's the ones that"apparently" don't or should that be secret admirer's. Jilted love ❤ can be so hard for some to take. Never mind, grendull will be along in a bit to tickle your tummy and take you for a walk.

No, it is the ones on the video from the charity game actually worshiping them that do it... There was no apparently about it...

Although, the blind eyes that some people keep turning to suit it probably never happened at all did it?

Maybe we can see who owns up to it, like people were expected to about Sixfields ;) I know of 2 people who were going mad for him that day who are on here, obviously I can't link faces to usernames automatically.

I notice the person demanding people with freebies for Sixfields own up yet has had a free ticket for Wasps hasn't piped up yet?

Presumably he did pipe up otherwise how would you know that he had a freebie for Wasps? That's leading by example isn't it?

Didn't Ransom resign because Fox and Dann were sold ?

No, he 'resigned' because he didn't have other options. Sisu had lost confidence in him and were not going to inject another penny. He could stay and see the club go into administration (losing all value of his shares) or he could resign and recover a settlement for his shares.

Hahaha what a surprise.

To be honest I am clueless on their involvement in our downfall.
I guess, like me, lots see them either pushed out or resigning from Sisu management.
That to me says they disagree with their policies for what ever reason.

Elliot in particular, was a life president, or something, and was thrown out.
Hoffman and Elliot go home and away and are undoubtedly Coventry City fans and have the club at heart.

Hoffman in particular tried several ways to get CCFC back from Northampton and I respect him for that.
Elliot was instrumental in saving us from administration and at the time we were all relieved.
Looking back perhaps administration would have been better and bought in more potential buyers, but who knows ?

People always criticise those that try to do something, yet do nothing themselves and moan about those that tried from behind the safety of their keyboard.

Stop moaning about everything, get off your arse and do something and stop criticising those attempting to do something even if they fail in there attempt.

Like closing the academy? Driving around collecting shares to get sisu in?

What did hoffman do when in Northampton?

Interesting you missed my quotes earlier on in the thread?

in my opinion they were one of the reasons we was at Northampton. wasnt they getting in the councils ear by saying they can change the ownership of the club by administration and having haskell stood by? That was around the time that a deal was agreed between sisu and acl wasn't it?

.... And in your opinion where would we be now if it had worked ?

If change of ownership or the deal for the ricoh had worked? either way, who knows.

Haskell had no money so would we be actually be any better off. And if we had bought into ACL, that would of been better than where we are now surely??

He had about 15% maybe 17% (I don't remember the exact percentage but can look it up if important).
So he was a shareholder, chairman of the board and CEO. Too many positions - especially CEO and chairman is a poor mix as the chairman usually hires and fires the CEO.

BTW - if Hoffman and Elliott were particular unhappy with sisu they wouldn't sit around with responsibilities (and accountability) for three years. Surely it don't take that long to figure out what sisu are?
They resigned when they ran out of money and options.

It's probably the same affliction that makes people think we were run like a model football club until SISU walked in the door....

We could get relegated and bent over for rent at the fantastic stadium and near enough go bust?
