We are 7 points off playoffs , 4 off relegation .
all the teams below us dont have any games in hand , quite afew above us do so its likely we will fall further away from the playoffs .
scunthorpe won 4-1 away at walsall today , amazing wha robins had done there , also worth mentioning they are above us now on goal difference , amazing that when we went there earlier on this season they couldnt buy a win and now they are above us .
oh well lol , dont keep the playoff hopes going , its not going to happen

Could go 10th...

If we win on Monday night. Funny old division, isn't it? A poor season really by all accounts and a win on Monday puts us top 10 (regardless of games in hand).

Win 3-0 and could be 8th a point off play offs. Yes we've played more and a big gap above, but might help with getting a quality loan in, if we are top end.

Highest we can go is 10th, and we'd still be 4 points off the play offs. And we will probably lose anyway.

We will go back to 4 points off , but most teams above us will have 1 or 2 some 3 games in hand

Do you know what, they've obviously done well, but I didn't think Swindon were great earlier in the season. Different kettle of fish now I'm expecting.

A win Monday would be a big shock to the rest of the league, but I think it is certainly possible.

Great day of results. Only Sheffield utd winning was really bad for us. Fleetwood won't have enuff for top 6 imo

Makes beating Swindon huge. 10th 4 pts of 5th and 6th and it all gets very very exciting

We are only 7 points off the play-offs if you assume that while we are getting those 7 points, the teams above us will not get any. Clearly this will not happen, so we are in fact much more than 7 points off the play-offs. Yes, one win can leap-frog us over a couple of teams above us but equally one loss can see a couple of teams leap-frog over us. And we are far nearer the bottom than the top. Based on past results why would anyone assume we will suddenly have a surge in form and shoot up the table? Since the players we have now are more or less the same as we had earlier, the only dramatic change is likely to come from a change in tactics and formation. May I suggest we start putting our opponents under some pressure.

After the Swindon game we have 2 away games, Gillingham and Yeovil.
After those games we will know everything about our further ambitions.

when chelsea were 8pts clear at top no one was saying oooh man city actually need more than 8pts!!!!!!!!!

dont be overly negative just because its your own team.

were talking about the gap, not how many pts we need all season.
