We as a group today have had a 2 hour meeting about where we as fans of this club go from here!
We have took everyone's negative and positive comments on board and realise we need to improve our planning and interaction with fans and to take more ideas on board for our next move!
we was disappointed with the reaction to Monday nights protest but we always stressed it was just the start of a possible long but hopefully not to long a fight with sisu!

We as fans have got to stop the bickering with one and other! It's gone now it's done let's move on.
we have realised we made mistakes in our last protest and hold our hands up to them. We might have been proved wrong that doing a protest at the Swindon game because it was on sky was a bad move as a protest is not that effective without a decent turn out but never the less it did make the media and the club were well aware of the situation and our message did get across, it has fans and local media talking about sisu again it also had sisu out banners and 'Go' signs in the ground for the 1st time since our return to the Ricoh!
It's obvious it was not as vocal as we had hoped for but let's all move on to the next fight against our owners now and let's cut the abuse out. We have had positive feedback and negative feedback and abuse , we can deal with and expect the 1st two but abuse is not getting anyone anywhere apart from sisu getting off lightly and fans not so much.

We have looked into much bigger avenues with promo for this next move and we have also looked at huge banners and signage to order for this protest. We again welcome all ideas and will do our best to involve as many as we can. One negative response we got about our last protest was we didn't take anyone's ideas on board well we had over 1,600 emails, tweets, Facebook comments and direct messages full of ideas so it was impossible to include all of those but we will do more to include more fan input into this protest as we all know a protest is nothing with out the fans. We stressed time and time again that the next protest had to be a NOPM style protest because our members of the group think it's vital that all city fans can take part and get there message across to sisu and not just the fans that go into the ground!
We are scheduling our protest for the Bradford city at home game on February the 14th the reason we chose that game is we can get more fan input on this protest then in the short space of time we had last time round and it will also mean most fans would not of purchased a match ticket yet which we think is vital!
We don't want sisu to get a penny out of fans protesting!
This protest will be out side the ground during the game and hopefully we set a record for a low home attendance in coventry and the media will be more interested in us outside protesting than the game inside the Ricoh it's self !
Again we apologise for any mistakes we made last time round , the old saying is you learn from your mistakes !
We are still getting new followers and adds each day and new fans jumping on board wanting to help out!
At the end of the day we all want the same thing and that is SISU the scum to go so let's all please unite for this once and keep the fight going against sisu
Thank you

Reference the above statement. Whilst I agree with some of the content of the post, who the hell have they got doing the spell check or grammar for their press releases?? It just sounds so amateur.

I cannot believe that POST!

The for a start I could go a long way further back but there's just no point, futile to play the blame game.

English & comprehension just might help your totally pathetic cause but I guess education and business understandings just passed you by!

PATHETIC IMHO! PUSB

Needs to be inside the stadium at what will be a big crowd (er...by that i mean 10,000) It was lost the other night because of the small crowd. Is this protest outside the stadium actually what the fans have said they want ?

I just don't understand it anymore. SISU have been terrible for our club but given the circumstances now, I'm just bloody glad they are still in the game. So wouldn't be protesting against them at this juncture but more trying to find avenues to appeal to them and set some agendas with them on taking the club forward. We need more information, (stadium etc) and plans afoot on every level. Work with them not against them. If you really think that protesting them out is the answer then what do you have when you succeed? Is their a white knight ready and waiting? Help them become better, fighting them will get you nowhere. There is very little to fight them for anymore. The club is on the ropes for gods sake. They are the only salvation we have as much as that hurts me to say.

All you are doing is dragging the club's name into the mire more and more. Protest about SISU's reluctance to tell us anything concrete for sure but to protest in order to oust them out is rather short sighted I'm afraid as that train has already departed. They are here and we need to make them pay us attention and try harder. We need to know what their goals are, where they are hoping to take the club and how. That's where your energy should be. Stop depressing us anymore by dragging this club down until you get your wish and probably kill it. That won't get us anywhere.
I couldn't care less who owns us particularly during these troubled times. Doubt anyone would want to owns us at present. We just need to perform on the pitch and all will change for the better. It may take a while but will happen. Best way for that is support the team regardless of ownership.

I can't support a protest like that, how does it benefit our players and help create an atmosphere telling people not to go to games and hoping it's a record low attendance?

Im in (, or outside) , eight season ticket holders by me , now only 3 of us go to the game , the choice is do something and fail or do nothing and fail , but things can not go on as they are , this bullshit about hurting the team ect , has long ,long since past ,maybe some people woukd like the crowds back down to 2000 again , but it would not hurt , for everyone who is left ,to say go in ten minutes late ,don't know what sky made of the crowd Monday but I work for a national company ,and workmates from around the country , all asked where was the crowd , so it was noticed ,side issue who pays for the extra police and stewards as there were loads on duty Monday , if they have to provide that amount every eek , they will be putting games on at a loss if the crowds keep slipping

I just can't bring myself to believe SISU would under any circumstances listen to the supporters.

Another statement illustrating that it is nothing but attention they are after. Not interested in supporting the team whatsoever.

idiots actively trying to get people to boycott a game when we are in the deep end of a relegation battle. "the media will be more interested in whats happening outside" on Fa cup 5th round weekend you reckon? the only people covering Coventry Bradford that day is the cov telegraph, cov n warwick radio and bbc recording for the football league show the last 2 will be inside the stadium the telegraph might give you 5 minutes before going inside. enjoy standing on your own outside a football stadium

A protest on Valentine's Day? ...Love City, Hate Sisu...

Maybe they're hoping anyone who's not single will decide it's better to miss the match then be moaned at for going to the footy on valentines day and they can take the credit!

I kind of agree with pax on this one, SISU just released a statement with their 5 point plan stating they must engage better with fans so lets test that one?

I know what they are trying to achieve but this would result in further administration for the club (which probably guarantees relegation), are we that desperate we would get relegated and have another deduction in League 2. For me this would probably kill the club totally. Personally don't like in ground protests, lets support the boys. Do your protesting before and after the games that way everyone would back it and everyone can still support the boys on the park.

It wasn't the first time for sisu out banners.

I can see it now, they will have a statement out saying we got 27k for gillingham and 8k for that game and it was all.down to them.

1600 emails??

They were apparently working 18 hour days on the last protest. 2 hour meeting? I thought the last protest they were meeting fans, fans groups etc every day? More exaggerations?

It really does sound like a 14 year old kid or somebody purposely trying to mask their style of writing.

Has anybody actually abused them? Maybe they should ask the people who seem to follow them very closely not to abuse people who ask very relevant questions?

The swindon protest was clearly on the wrong side of the ground, pointed out many times before and after.

I wonder just how much lower we can go. Joe Elliot must be wondering what he did 7 years ago. I will not join any protest. Except to stay away, miss games and go up occasionally until my ST runs out. Then I will stay away until SISU have gone. The club is stagnant, will not move forward with Fisher et al in charge.

Where are the Trust in all of this?

They say that they were not involved with this - fair enough. Yet several people in the Trust hierarchy constantly pandering to these fuckers on social media.

Right now SISU have said there is a new stadium in the pipeline. This is where the focus should be. Protest on wanting details and concrete evidence for the fans and the support will be far more than this divisive approach.

This needs to be 100% focus of the Trust right now. Engage in proper dialogue with the club (use their own 5 point plan against them) and get something tangible for thefans to get behind.

agree the trust should be pushing them after that admittance that they do not engage with fans. The trust should be saying 'okay you stated you wanted to talk about the future then lets do it'.

Get on the pitch home and away in mass, get the club fined every week causing distribution. At least we won't have to watch the dire football.

Genius idea...

The club would ultimately get docked points if it repeatedly happened.

This is embarrassing.

If I was inclined to protest, and be led in that protest by an organised group, it would not be this one. I would think a pivotal point in protesting is communication. Clearly a skill the authors of these statements lack. The "group" come across as unorganised and unprofessional, releasing statements littered with cliches and hollow statements without context or meaning.

We all had a number of questions following release of the first statement; who is behind the group? What are the next steps in their plan of removing SISU (it can't just be continual small scale protests surely) ? What happens if SISU leave? The group originally alluded to consortiums being involved, who are they? Notably there is no longer reference to them now.

I suggest next time they meet to review feedback, answer the numerous questions posed by the fans, within this thread and more prominently within the previous 'press release' thread.

This is another ten a penny splinter group changing their message every 'protest' they put on...

Now it's reverting back to NOPM, which dosen't help anybody. Where were these people when the ground was old to Wasps?

Fingers crossed that Bradford beat Chelsea in the cup 4th round (unlikely I know).
At least they'd get their wish of nobody in the ground.

Would it not make more sense to turn up in numbers and then protest, if that has to happen... Like, inside the ground...?

The protest will be seen, will be heard, will gain coverage and exposure and will make more sit up and listen.

I think we all should now know now is that by starving SISU of revenues will only result in wages slashed, transfer spending slashed and more (any?) of our best players turfed out with more reliance on the youth academy. It hasn't worked yet and we're pretty much rock bottom so goodness knows why some are still pursuing this.

If the home attendances continue to be so poor, the standard of football will be so also. And the results. And then, we're right in the midst of relegation and will see our team drop yet another league. No-one with £millions of available funds is going to step in and take over a club on a long decline with the club in the mess it is currently.

Surely, just supporting what we have so that we don't get relegated has to be of utmost priority currently. I have no confidence that we could get out of League 2 any season soon if we were to get relegated this season.

Don't bring sense into it...

Sense would have been to do the protest directly in view of the Sky Cameras...

The protest was done brilliantly in front of the cameras.

There is now no doubt that fans do not support CCFC and the evidence was the number of empty Sky Blue seats.
Fans are voting with their feet on the whole SISU management issue.
