I have not changed my stance one bit. I said give SP another few weeks after the window at best. That still stands. I've always been against much of what SISU have presided over but I'm also acutely aware that the council and ACL were not dealing cleanly either. I knew it long ago and referred to such many times in post. Nope my stance has never changed. I'll take a look at what's wrong and call it how I see it.
The problem with some posters is they misinterpret what is said. Point in case is this thread. The OP was made with irony, a point lost on many here.

OSB is entirely right.

Okay, there are a few who completely blame Sisu for everything, but for the most part, the vast majority of City fans apportion blame upon all sides, albeit to different degrees. Does it really matter anymore the percentage of blame on CCC?The percentage or blame on ACL or Sisu?

What difference does it make other than you try and justify our own personal opinions?

We do indeed now need to look at the future and at our club and what that future holds and focus our attention upon our position in the league, the fear of relegation, the manager, the players, the fans and where on earth we go from here.

I have stopped reading most of these blame apportion threads. I have already come to my own conclusion and did so some time back and it seems clear that there are degrees of blame all all sides and that is all just about percentage of blame to be apportioned, but then I ask myself, what difference does it make if it is 50/50 or 70/30, or 80/10?

It doesn't change anything. We still are where we are.

As OSB says, we really need to stop going round in circles never getting anywhere on the subject of the degree of culpability and really start focusing in the future of our football club!

Oh we are all focussed on the future. La de fucking da, meaningless statement when we dont know what the future will be. Only thing we can currently do is go and support the team and help us stay up OR decide not to go and that becomes an accepted approach.

This team and manager need a bit of love at the moment and we need to help them.

Let's hope SP doesn't visit this site then if he needs some love.

Couldn't agree more.

I want to know how the club intend to:

Turnaround the fortunes of the playing squad.

Turnaround the decline in attendances.

Secure the clubs place in Coventry (not near it)

Secure the clubs financial position.

Those are all questions for the club to answer and no one else at this stage.

If we reach a situation in the future where the council are for instance blocking any new ground, then I will happily turn my attention to them.

But for now all the responsibility is on sisu.

I think this thread reinforced the point really didn't it. But thank you to posters like Otis, Paxman and others who understood the post and others who expressed their own valid view or opinion by discussing it

Just to be clear I am not saying CCC or other parties or indeed journalists should not be questioned and challenged - I never have said that quite the reverse is what I have always said. I am not saying that CCC do not have questions to answer, to my mind those questions are more fundamental than did Lucas mislead, lie, misdirect, or not say enough in public utterances in a PR war fought (and still fought) by two poorly performing financial entities. Lets face it what she actually said in the council chamber with her one vote wasn't actually minuted. One letter taken in isolation doesn't actually prove a point. But join up all we actually know, what has been proven and where does that take us? ....... probably with still only half the story. I am not saying that fans should not question all sides either but every thread turns into bashing one side or another or personal abuse and that feeds the growing sense of apathy. The blame game for what has gone on be it by CCC or SISU is futile in many ways (but both played significant parts) and I, like others, now try to stay away from any side of it.

What matters is where we (CCFC) are now, how we get out of it, and yes the future including do we actually have one.

Right now I can see a situation where by at the end of February we could be sitting in the drop zone after that run of matches. With the reduced squad we have, with the lack of quality and depth, 13 games left, low confidence, small crowds, etc it is going to be a very hard place to be or take and even harder to escape by season end.

Yes the team needs our love, but it should be the club not just the team shouldn't it? How is it possible to feel connected, to feel part of the solution, to feel proud, to give that love if the fans are kept at arms length, the real questions are not answered, the how is not explained other than lame blasé statements lacking cohesion and substance, the product provided lurches from poor to inept with the odd glimmer of class or there is no real evidence of the club owners fully supporting its team.

Right now I am far more worried about CCFC than CCC...... there appears to be a perfect storm gathering pushing us down or even on to the buffers.... I think the fans need proper explanation as to how we run to shelter. That's where I am going to focus, the rest (parts played by SISU/CCC etc) will come out in the inevitable expensive court cases that follow to arrive back at the same status quo

Your view may differ but that's where I stand at the moment

You get "connected" to a club by going to see the team play not by wishing it was all different on a message board. My 10 year old needs a bit of coercion to come along at the moment but that is long term building his loyalty and habit. That is as important I think as any protesting or sitting at home NOPMing.

Besides, he will then feel the same amount of elation we loyal fans all will when finally the corner turns.

Very admirable off you. Sadly that doesn't address the points OSB raises.

I was mad for it when I was 10, mind you they were fabulous days to be following the City with the best kit we ever had, playing in our own ground which at the time could hold 36000+ and with Wally and Fergie up front and Hutch on the wing. I was hooked !!
I've made/coerced all my kids follow the Cov teams having taken them to City, CovRFC, Blaze and Bees but they are old enough now to make up their own minds as to what they want to do. I'm pleased to say my eldest is still an avid fan of Bees and Blaze and my twins are happy to come to the Rugby or football but they prefer the BPA at the moment for obvious reasons { So do I, they still get in for nowt }.

because they cant be addressed at the moment. thats the point.

hence why we continually spend more time arguing about he said/she said news reports, and court cases....

Very sad

Calm down Revered Bellend and come down off your high horse - I meant that being loyal means going to support the team NOW when they really need it. I never mentioned Sixfields did I?

And yes, if you cant be arsed to go an support the team now you cant really be called loyal can you. Have a nice day. And dont be rude to your customers in the poundshop this afternoon because you are upset.

The loyal fan TIm Fisher also went to Northampton ?

....I'm surprised he did.....especially as he attended pretty much all season......no-one would have noticed or cared if he never attended.

Despite all the shit & abuse Fisher always gets on here, he's never ducked any issue, challenge or sensible request for a meeting as far as I'm aware.....He also appears happy enough to engage with the fans he encounters in everyday life...even if some of their behaviour borders on stalking....

..Regardless of what/who he represents, I've actually developed a grudging respect for the man.

What has he said about the repeated FOI's?

me too. He doesn't have to talk to the fans. Many chairmen would avoid the dissatisfied customers like the plague.

Seeing that every page in this thread has a spelling mistake, I'm guessing it's one of you lot who wrote this? ;)

I think we've found the culprit http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/53129-Oral-appeal?p=850093&viewfull=1#post850093

Cause they will wind us up you sissu puppet , they are an hedge fund , they buy a company ACL ,put all the toxic wase into a part of the company ( CCFC ) Then Liquidate loss making part ( CCFC ). All they want or wanted was the RICHO for nothing then sell off for a profit. I am glad our Council told them to do one .

dunno...what has he said??

As far as I'm aware (unless anyone knows better) he said an announcement concerning the new ground will be made in the new year.

Has he ever even acknowledged the existence of the FOI's? That's an open question, not specifically aimed at JHFC.

In a nutshell, exactly why my posting frequency has dropped off a cliff.

This thread (and virtually every thread recently) reminds me of the clusterfuck GMK became before the mass exodus to here. Just an echo chamber for five or six people.
