What a total waste of time and money these appeals seem to be and as a tax payer I wish Seppala and her cronies would stop costing us all and keeping real cases from the courts.
You don't approve of the appeal system?
In fairness, there appeal has been rejected twice since then. If they keep putting themselves back in the system?
When will people learn? If you are going to watch ccfc play you are paying the legal bills whilst getting less product and entertainment on the pitch. Yes we all want to go and watch them and support them but these owners only understand money. They don't give a toss if you go or not. The people who do go are only funding legal bills. Do we not all agree that? Yes we pay wages but that's small fish and with loans and then being shorter and shorter loans we don't have a product.
I never thought I would say it but nopm at the Ricoh is the only answer. To quote the CT "we can only bleed if we have got blood" if we starve sisu out they will be gone quicker than we hope. Look at Northampton. Nopm did get us back home or certainly helped.
It's short term pain for long term gain. Put up with sisu for another 6 months max if no one goes or put up with sisu for another 2-3 years of appeals etc with crowds of 5k in league 2. Your choice.
What dates the appeal for this rejection? Is it the European courts that have to reject next or is it the other JR that was put on hold that has to follow the path of failure.

I am not particularly in favour of any sort of organised Nopm campaign this time. It will be unnecessarily divisive with very little benefit. Crowds are plummeting anyway now (season ticket renewals will be non existent IMO), so ticket revenue will be very small, without any of the bitterness of the past.
I'd like to see sisu actually win a court case to see all the backtracking on this forum about how the truth is all that matters. No doubt the judge would have been chucked a backhander.

Wasps will know by then whether they need CCFC or not.
If they are stable they might just run the lease down if they are not already.
CCFC provide Wasps with income. Wasps politically will not want to be seen to throw CCFC out of the Ricoh.

Well, if they win, they will go after compensation from CCC. Then they will begin proceeding on CCC deal with Wasps, meaning they will be taking on their landlords, resulting in a strained relationship at the very best...
As others have said, the only guaranteed loser in this is CCFC
It is rare for compensation to be awarded in a JR.
There can be no claim against Wasps by Sisu in my eyes. Privity of contract etc. don't forget, we are told that Wasps didn't have to exercise a veto over Sisu becoming a shareholder, AEHC simply sold to Wasps.
Final point, there is no way a court could even seek to unwind the Wasps deal, far too embedded now. And Wasps haven't moved to be anything less than 100% owners.

So what is the f****ing point?
Beats me!
I think it might show some more holes in the council/wasps deal which we all know wasn't really played with a straight bat. Apart form that (and the unsustainable costs) it solves nothing, we don't have the Ricoh and we need to move on.
Correct, there is no magic bullet where the stadium ownership is reversed. The best SISU can hope to achieve is some material contract breach that would give them a route to finacial recourse against CCC.

Just to clear this up sisu are only appealing and appealing and appealing for one reason.
To save face. That's all.
I'd go with that. Someone is fighting for their "we batter people in court" reputation. Even though they don't win at any stage it show's they'll see it through to the end.
but what is the end ?
genuine question, is it possible to batter someone in court if you kept appealing but losing and making it drag out over 5 or 6 years ?.

"Pressley raring to go"
The court case of SISU v CCC which started today isn't detracting from SP pre season preperations. Steve Wagott confirmed "we have been working extremely hard over the summer to build a squad and ethos that will give SP every chance of a promotion push in League Two. We have scouts in place all over Scotland, Wales and Ireland looking for players who fits with SP ethos and the way he wants his team to shape up. We are delighted to have brought in the 17 year lad from Wigan on a 30 day loan, and hopefully look to get one or two more over the line before the season starts. The loss of Ryan Haynes was unfortunate, but his head was turned by Brentford and the £100k fee we received will be given to steve to strengthen the playing side of the squad. I am in touch on a daily basis with the Stadium group and we hope to have some news in the coming months regarding the purchase of land within the coventry area. We visited Weston Super Mare last week and were very impressed with the set up and its amazing what can be achieved with 100% of the revenues, which if we adopted that model here, SP would get 60p in the pound to invest in the squad. We acknowldge we havent been as open with the fans as they would have liked and that will change."
